Despite a late request with less than 24 hours notice, Karlene provided delicious Cuban catering for a work lunch. She was very responsive and all the food was incredible. We ordered croquetas, pastelitos de carne, and pastelitos de guayaba. The Tres Leches cake was the crowd favorite! Thanks again for making our event successful.

If you need a caterer look no further than havanabama. She cooked it fresh and severed everything beautifully. She made a themed menu and brought decor. She cleaned up everything and left it better than it was. She is the friendliest caterer in the business. Everyone said she had the best black beans they’ve ever eaten. 10 out of 10

I was intrigued when I saw Havanabama online. I have fond memories of frequenting a Cuban bakery in Little Havana when I would visit family in Florida, so it’s safe to say I had high expectations going in. I was blown away. The pastelitos took me right back to that balmy Florida street corner. I can’t wait to share these with my friends. Also, the service was amazing! They were so accommodating and really went above and beyond. I can’t wait to come back!

Catered our Halloween party and absolutely knocked it out of the park. Everything was delicious but especially the lechon asado and ropa vieja! Easy to work with as well. Highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious, authentic Cuban cuisine that is a must-try for anyone in the Huntsville area! The owner could not be any sweeter! And don’t forget to get a couple of pastries to go with you meal! 😉

My office and I placed a lunch order for pickup at the kitchen. Karlene was great and provided excellent customer service. The food was amazing. As someone who has spent some time in Miami, I can honestly say their Cafecito and croquetas are the real deal. So excited to have found Havanabama.

Truly authentic and delicious Cuban cuisine. True to Cuban culture, they had a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Food was fantastic, we tried the empanadas, croquettes, pastelitos, chicken entrees, and cafe con leche. Happy to have great Cuban cuisine in the Huntsville area. Definitely stop by, order ahead or cater an event. I'll be spreading the word to friends and family about this place.

Cannot say enough good things about Karlene and Havanabama!!

We lived in Florida for almost 8 years and had a Cuban breakfast every Saturday morning and Havanabama brought us back to those memories! Her croquettes might be the best ever. And the cafe con leche "tastes exactly like Abuela's!" -My Half-Cuban Wife. And don't leave without a Pastille or 5! Can't wait to try more food!!!

Havanabama.hsv catered my daughter’s graduation party. The food was fabulous. Not one person there didn’t like it. Everyone wanted to know where it came from and how could they get more. We had the shredded flank steak and rice and plantains- and of course pastelitos. My son even said later that night he wished he had more because it was all he could think about. Order the food- you won’t be sorry! Also- Karlene is a doll. She came- set everything up with the food and asked if I needed help with anything else. Absolutely precious.
