Great food and portions for the price. The falafel and rice were both so good. My family all loved our meals. The sweet tea is a flavorful mint tea which is very unique. I love something more than just regular tea. The interior could use a makeover, but it was clean. Only minor complaint would be is that I'd prefer metal utensils since the plastic forks can barely pierce the falafel.

Cafe style place with seating inside and out. Looks as if it is a little dated but nice atmosphere. Plenty to choose from, I had a gyro and Greek salad. Gyro was perfectly portioned for a lunch. the meat was very tasty and tender. not over loaded with lettuce like many others do. Tzatziki was very creamy, almost looked like sour cream, but had wonderful cucumber flavor and went well with the gyro. The pita was very fresh and nice and warm. The salad was very fresh and cold. large slices of bell pepper, tomato and onions, with Kalamata olives, and pepperoncini. Only two complaint about the salad, 1. didn't notice that the olives were not pitted and about broke a tooth. 2. they need to add just a little more dressing into the mix.
Great food. Love the hummus and was happy they have mint tea. Service can be slow but it's a small place most likely family run. Definitely a must have if you are in huntsville.

Jamo's is a staple Hsv restaurant for me. I always get a falafel wrap or plate and some baklava. Their coffee is top-notch, too.
The food was great and arrived without much of a wait. Seemed like it was made fresh too which is always a plus! The girl who took our order was very helpful when we asked questions about the seasoning. Would definitely recommend. Has both indoor and outdoor seating as well.

Small cafe with indoor and porch seating. Lots of plants to greet you. They operate out of a tiny kitchen for the hot foodd and a large section for drinks. Order at the corner and they'll bring it to your table. Cashier was friendly. Looking at my receipt later (not itemized), I'm wondering how an $11.49 gyro plate, a $4.29 spanakopita, and no drink added up to be $19.60 (unless it's 24% taxes here). It comes in styrofoam plates and plastic ware regardless if you're dining in or taking out. Spanakopita was fried, not baked like it says in the menu. It was very greasy. Tasty while it's at mouth burning temperatures but quickly became soggy as it cooled. Like it was baked, then frozen, then fried? That's just a guess on my part. The Gyro plate was an appropriate lunch portion. The pita was thin and stale. One side of it was warm but it quickly became inedible (like hard leather) as it cooled. The tzatsiki was very nice: creamy without being runny, good cucumber flavor (I'd buy a container of that to go if I could). The rice was good. The gyro meat was not. I'm still not sure how it became the texture that it did. It seemed like it was sliced off after being on the rotisserie for A While and then maybe left in a warming bin?. One side was very dark and the edges are hard and crispy. The salad was nicely assembled although I'm not sure why I would get a whole slice of the green pepper, onion, and tomato when everything else is already chopped. The slice of pineapple was sweet and a good finishing bite.
My experience was just meh~ It could be so much better if it was just... fresher. I may come back, but probably not for a while. I'm hoping if I give them time to improve the next visit will be better.

I was a regular for about ten years til February 6, 2025. That’s when I completely stopped being a customer to them. Hilda which is Muhammad wife had made my burger earlier that evening and when I bit into my sandwich the meat was still raw. I went back inside ask her to remake my food she refused to not only that she told me there wasn’t anymore burgers in the store. Not mention she refused to give my money back, and start screaming at me. By that a couple had came in the store, and husband of the lady that had ordered herself something to eat. Had started talking to me asking why did I returned my food. I explained to him so he got mad hisself and told her to give me money and back and her response to him was “oh you shut up this don’t have anything to do with you” he said you’re right doesn’t, but treating her unfair has a lot to do with me. He suggested I call the police which I did. Explain my situation to them, and that was the only way I got my refund, and I definitely reported them to the health department!! She also sabotaged my fries after I clearly told her no seasoning on them!!

This is proof you don't judge a restaurant by its cover... The food is fantastic and prices are modest compared to other places. But ahead of that the sweet guy that (on his own) served my mother and me this morning along with construction workers and businessmen proved that this is a local restaurant with delicious gyros and burgers as well as a place for anyone to eat in comfort.
