I ate at Jamaican Rock the first time and it was good but the rice was a little dry. It was also cooked different that what I'm use to but I love the taste of the spicy chicken.

J*** Chicken ( spices on point), Curry Goat, Oxtail, and the Cabbage was divine the rice needs a little work but everything else was delicious. Awesome food we traveled over an hour to try and we enjoyed every folk full.

Friendliest staff at one of these restaurants so far or maybe I was just lucky. Provided with service and a smile. Food was decent, I enjoyed my oxtail. Rice and peas was a little scorched. Beef patties gets a pass.Business is located inside the Sunoco gas station so not a full scale restaurant. While there, business was brisk as it was close to rush hour but service seemed prompted.

The last time I ate at Jamrock I was very disappointed. not only did they take an extremely long time to bring my food, the quality and the price was very disappointing. My rice was stuck together In little clumps the oxtail juice was pasty as if it had sat out for a while. By the time I made it home to try and eat it. They were closed. I will no longer continue to waste 20$ on garbage. I’ll jus go to sparkman to island j*** it’s less expensive awesome.

Real Jamaicans making real Jamaican food. We had to wait a minute because there was only one person working the food line, but the wait was worth it. I had the mixed plate with oxtails and curry goat. Watch out for bones, but that shows authenticity.Great flavor. Plates come with sautéed cabbage beans and rice and fried plantains. The beans and rice were a little dry, but that’s fixed by mixing in the curry sauce. We will definitely visit again.

Overall, not bad I enjoyed the cabbage and rice & peas; you definitely could tell it was fresh. The chicken had good flavor but needed to be cooked a little longer. I say that because it was a little pink. Big momma always said give me the burnt piece of chicken LOL.Also, the spice level on the chicken was kinda weak and the sauce was more of a bbq flavor with a hint of spice. I was expecting a little more heat.Thumbs up on the beef patty. Would I come back? I would give them another shot and order something else.

This was my first time trying Jamaican food and I must say that it was very good. The food was nice and hot with lots of flavor. The oxtails cabbage and rice was my favorite but I also loved the curry chicken and j*** chicken. The side of cabbage and the rice was a perfect mix to go with the curry and j*** chicken. I will most definitely be going back to get some more. The service was nice and the ladies were very welcoming.
Been twice in the last 2 days cuz I was working near the store. The first day I went and smelled the cooking and asked the young lady what I could get for dinner to feed 3. She recommended the mixed meal w j*** chicken oxtails and plantains and cabbage. I paid for the order $20 and came back an hour or so later and the young lady gave me a small plate with 2 meats but no plantains. It was good but not worth $20.. it was a MISS the first day but Today I went back for another try and got a lunch special for $7 with cabbage plantains and rice and peas. It WAS DELICIOUS! and the young lady remembered me from the day before. I'll be back again!

Dis a probably di first time mi have yaad food inna America that tasted truly authentic. Di food was packed with flavor and every ting was hot and fresh. Freaking superb!
