While the meat at Kar's Char was very good, we were smitten more so by their sides. The collard greens were off the charts and those jalapeño Cheddar potato bites were golden bites of heaven. Plus, anyone that offers chili that comes with chunks of brisket inside, and banana pudding as a side, earns serious cred. It's in Lowe Mill, which is a reclaimed shoes factory that now houses all sorts of arts, as well as a pinball arcade.

This place definitely makes me reminiscent of my favorite Texas BBQ place. The banana pudding was good but wasn't the best I've ever had. The brisket quesadilla was good! Get some BBQ sauce for dipping!

This is the best bbq in Huntsville. The brisket and smoked sausage are incredible and affordable. The meat sampler plate comes with pulled pork, brisket, smoked sausage, and 2 sides for only $21! It's enough food for my wife and me to share. Overall, great food and value.

Pork sandwich was very dry, bland and lacking flavor. Poured a whole ramekin of sauce on it and couldn’t taste that either. Mac and cheese tastes like stouffers frozen Mac n cheese. Baked beans are meh. Wouldn’t eat here again

Great bbq pork and brisket. The onion rings were best Ive ever had. They fry rhem in beef tallow, and it shows! Mac and cheese and geeens pretty good. 2 owners were the 2 guys working, friendly and knowledgeable. I will be back!!

We've been here since 2007 doing different bbq places. Had our favorite until now and this is the best we've had!!!! Only recommendation is more mustard and pickles on the Cuban but ya can't beat this place! Well worth it.
