This is maybe my third or fourth visit and I have only had one good experience. This visit I sat a the bar as I usually do…waited 20 min before I was acknowledged (two women sat down afterwards and we all waited) . I had to ask for water with lemon twice and was brought water without lemon. Both my appetizer and entree came out at the same time. A slim african American manager approached asking if things were okay and I responded that this was not a great experience…his response “I am sorry to hear that”…What?!? He didn’t communicate that he was discounting my meal but that response had me heated. A rainstorm rolled in so I closed out my bill and waited a while to get a pen to sign the receipt. I told Antonio that he was spread thin today ( he was taking tables as well). It was just a subpar experience considering how much I have spent here over my visits. I needed to smoke so I went to the end of the bar where no one was present (as I have the times I have eaten here) and that same manager ran over to tell me that I could not smoke on the patio in any restaurant inAL. More training is obviously needed! I guess my past feedback fell on deaf ears…whenever on bridge street this will be the place I visit if I am desperate. Bottom line: go elsewhere for better service and customer care!

Everything was perfect except our appetizer came with the meal and the fiery sauce we asked for on the side took awhile to get. Finally getting our check paid took a. It took. Otherwise all was good.

Pretty disappointing.. have eaten here a few times before. Food was burnt. Service was horrible and it wasn’t even busy! If a restaurant is going to charge a premium price, the quality of food and service must match. This is not the place that meets that expectation. They need some help from a hospitality specialist who can help them understand that if they want to be a premium restaurant it’s about MORE than just the price of food.

MJ was amazingly phenomenal! She made my visit worthwhile even with me being sick and not feeling my best! She deserves a raise or promotion! Hope she keeps up the amazing work! Notable mentions are Ana & Manny.. they are amazing as well! When these 3 are on the same shift, you really have an all star team working.

Update: Fabian is an attentive and informative server, taking the time to answer our questions about the new items. New brunch menu just out. Eggs Benedict was great. KG burger was made to order. Omelet was cooked to perfection. From 3 years ago: Excellent sea bass sliders and carrot cake.
So first time here, first time paying $20 for a cheeseburger. Burger was way over cooked, in no way approximated picture on poster up front, dismal. Sweet potato fries tasted like fish, seemed cross contaminated. Probably in no hurry to come back.

Good food. A little expensive for what you get. I got the Las Vegas roll and it was tiny. Paired with a side of shrimp fried rice it was pretty good, but I ended up stopping at what a burger for a small burger later that night. So to leave a little hungry was 45 dollars. Also service was little sub par, only had my canal water (tasted suspect) refilled one time. Everyone I was with enjoyed their food, quality was good just not much of it.

Enjoyed our experience. The bar was busy, so our drinks were a little slow, but our server was attentive and our food came out quickly. Kids meal Bento box was fun for our grandson and we also ordered the steak special and the poke' bowl.
