I don’t understand why they can’t figure out basic American Chinese food. I understand that it’s in a student cafeteria but I’ve been twice and both times the meat was so mushy and inedible that I threw it out. A complete waste of time and money.

The truth about mein bowl is that this week I went to eat and everything was very hard, especially the orange chicken. I have seen the boss behave very badly with his workers. Sushi no longer tastes really bad, the chef who was there two months ago cooked better, who knows why he left.
I can't in my right mind give this place above a 3 star rating. Their quality varies semester by semester and then varies a little bit less day by day. If you catch them on a good semester on a good day, it's actually pretty good and I can 100% say that without attempting to fool myself. But if you catch them at all during a bad semester... (It was especially bad when they were open during COVID). Dear god it's AWFUL. The rice is rocks, the noodles are mushy, the meat is either mushy or rocks, the taste is awful, etc.The problem comes from the fact that when they ARE good, I don't mind getting them, but their quality varies. During a bad day on a good semester they're... edible, but any time during a bad semester you just don't want to bother.3.5 stars for when they're actually on a good semester due to price vs quality overall.1 star on a bad semester during the whole semester.
terrible. tastes very weird, idk what they do to it but i vomited it back up with the worst food poisoning episode i’ve ever had. DO NOT EAT HERE. you will end up hurling both ends of your body.
I've eaten here a ton and it's usually okay, nothing too special, but today the food I got was completely inedible. The chicken was bitter rocks. I really hope the university does something about this place because there are very few options on campus and Chick-fil-A and Burrito Bowl have extremely limited hours.
Everytime I go here I have low expectations. Somehow each year I try it again they do even worse. Don't go if you want edible food.

Excellent portion sizes and food quality. I was originally very skeptical of the place because of the older reviews, but this semester the staff has done great.
I've been twice since the semester started and so far I've ordered lo mein, orange chicken, general tso's chicken, and a veggie egg roll. The food is good. It's about $12 which is pricy considering you can get the same thing at the mall for $6, but I need to use the balance on my meal card that UAH forces all the students to get.
I think it’s the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Writing this right after I threw away my entire plate because its genuinely inedible
Seriously horrible food. It tastes old and dirty every time I eat there. Everything is mushy and has bad flavor. The food is left out for hours and definitely used for multiple days. The staff is sometimes nice, but overall, I would not recommend eating here to literally anyone.
Inedible. Food tastes awful. I would only recommend you eat this if you have a colonoscopy coming up and need a good cleaning. 50% chance you will get food poisoning and will spend a good 24 hours in the bathroom. Food probably tastes the exact same after you've digested it. Employees are helpful and kind but clearly overworked and underpaid by Sodexo.
