I got the small smothered oxtails. I literally ate off that plate for two days. It’s worth every penny. I also grabbed a drink while I waited. Just know the vibe was great

First timers, and Burt B is rude. He is very impatient. He spoiled my appetite.

First time visiting this soul food place. I was craving soul food at 11:00pm after a long day moving my nephews. I was looking for something fast, nice vibes and great quality food and drinks. Found this on google and decided to check out the menu. I was skeptical being from out of town and alone in a new neighborhood. It was giving good vibes from the main highway and parking lot and surprisingly inside was just like home. I really appreciate the catfish Mac and cheese and Italian green beans with roll meal with shot and mix drinks to settle me down from a long day. Definitely worth and will be coming back.

The food wasn’t bad. The smoked chicken wings were the best part of the meal. The service not so much. Cashier/bartender gets an attitude for asking questions as if money is getting taken away from her from answering. Get rid of her.

Food was good

I had never tried Mizz Juju's or OX tail before but this place is the place to try it out!! The OX tail is cooked to perfection and the fats and meat are juicy with the mash potato on the side is amazing! I do wish for more of that sauce the put on the side! SOOO GOOOOOD!!

Lemon pepper wets were best I’ve had, and the rotel on the fries was something I’ve never thought of, nor been offered. Also super good. Awesome spot.

Best place in the city

I went there with my wife a couple of nights ago. When we got there, we ordered our food at the bar, after ordering the cashier asked if we wanted to leave a tip. I pressed the option for 15% only because we ordered at the bar and not a table. When I looked at my receipt, it seemed a little pricey. I realized the add a 10% gratuity on your order and then what you select. They will not tell you that. I ended tipping them 25% on that order. My wife then asked if the food comes with drinks, the cashier said "no". We ordered 2 waters and there again is a 10% gratuity added because it was a different transaction. When the food was ready, they yelled at us to come get our food from the bar. They wouldn't even bring it to the table. The food was very good, but I was already upset because I felt like I had been taken advantage of. First and last time going there. Not worth almost $100 for 10 wings, a quesadilla, Fries and 2 waters.

My dad is really picky, especially about oxtails and he said it was the best he’s had. Flavor was on point. I got the ribeye and it was flavorful as well. The girl that was there was very helpful and took her time with us. Food came out fast.

The Cafe looked nice but I didn't order there because I was on a lunch break from work and it looked as though it would be a while before placing an order and leaving, so I can't really say much on the service and food, but it did look nice and I may return to hang out when not at work someday

Food never misses! Friendly environment with great customer service!

Take to long to get your food. Spaghetti was cold and not good. 10% gratuity added to your bill without your knowledge. No parking and people outside in the parking lot. Will not go back.

I feel like mizz jujus really be a vibe sometimes but I feel like all the girls who’s at the register they just have the worst attitudes they don’t want to take your order unless they know you but I love the music they play it’s definitely a good like chill place with some good food I always look forward to see what they have on the menu for that day now one thing I can say is their food is good but it is kinda pricey I went on Saturday and i got 3 whole wings, baked beans, and green beans and a drink it was $32 & small proportions and sometimes the sides can be a little unseasoned but for the most part it’s pretty good I also don’t like how the parking is like if you were planning on just going in getting food and coming out for one the food already takes about 30mins-1hour to come out anyways but by the time you come out to the parking lot your car is blocked in by like 3 cars I hate that but
