Such a great place with so many good food choices. Pizzas and salads are favorites of my family! Love the large collectible cups and free drink refills; love the app and rewards program, too.
I hate to rate Newks anything but 5 stars, because the food is truly delicious and seems to be made with care. We have eaten here for a few years and it has been a favorite. However, our last 2 visits the portions have been noticeably smaller. The prices do not reflect this and we are still hungry after eating our usual food. In this economy, we can’t keep spending money to eat here and not be satisfied.

Came in on a Saturday at noon and your restaurant was almost empty. Odd because you’re usually packed on weekends during lunch. I quickly found out why. Your portions changed. Prices are still high. I can’t justify coming back
Update Oct 2024 - Not what it used to be. First, the extra's bar with croutons, cheese, capers, etc, it's gone. They also do not have capers at all if you ask for them. Second, instead of about $20 for two people, it was $29. Third, the portions were smaller. The food was still good, but my Italian sandwich was just missing something and wasn't as filling as it used to be.
Original Review: Good food, reasonable prices. Sometimes the exhaust fans in the kitchen don't work well enough and it smells like they burnt something when you walk in.

You’ve lessened your portions AND upped your price.
Yeah, everyone’s having a tough time economically. But you can’t pass all of your problems to the ones who keep you in business without expecting to get the same back in return.
Stop passing the buck.
The taste is still great. Thanks for not changing that yet.

We walked in after the listed open time and stood at the register while everyone behind the counter scurried about. There were about 10 of us standing there - no hello / greeting / anything. Not sure what that’s about - but I eventually, after about 15 minutes of standing there, decided to place my order with the app. They didn’t have our apple juice for the kids, aquapanna, and they don’t do the condiments bar anymore - the roasted garlic was what I was after, but we were offered soft drinks and jalapeños. We don’t do soft drinks - so I opted for a refund. Not sure if that got processed, but we will see. Overall the food was great, despite the strange customer service situation. It’s nice they at least have hot sauce and the breadsticks out - which the kids enjoyed.

Got soup and half sandwich. Had to send soup back it was so bad. Sandwich was nothing but grease dripping from excessive pepperoni. $49 for lunch for 3 that was terrible. Never again
