We visited today. It wasn't busy. We got a Bacon Bomb and a Plain Jane. We got a side of fries and Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a beer with our food. Josh was great.

Great food. Clean eating area. Food came out sequentially, however so we couldn't start eating at same time.

Food was good. Tried the Grilled vegetable salad. It was surprising. Vegetables were cold, but had been grilled. It was good, but different. Had the bologolgi burger it was good, but dripping in sauce making a sticky mess. I had thought the hamburger meat would have been marinated, however it tasted more like the it was top with bologolgi marinade after being made. All good, just different then expected. Fries were crispy and great.

First time here. Food was very good. Ordered the Plain Jane all the way. Wife ordered the Buffalo wings. We got Piggy fries as the side.
The Piggy fries were large enough for two people and piled high with pulled pork.
The Buffalo wings my wife absolutely loved. Said the sauce wasn't hot but had lots of flavor.
The Plain Jane was very good, my only complaint is I wish the burger patty was a little more seasoned. Other than that great place. Definitely will let others know.
See Y'all next time!

Huntsville Alabama. Peppered pig is somewhere you need to try. Mac and cheese was rich and cheesy with a great flavor.
The bulgogi burger was an explosion of Korean flavors that melded together like peanut butter and jelly. Marinated in Korean bbq sauce, topped with a fried sesame sushi rice cake, Kimchi, garlic mayo & grilled scallions.

Fire in the Hole Fries

Seasoned fries with smoked pepper sauce, hot pepper relish, garlic mayo, grilled chopped red onion & scallions, pickled jalapeños and pepper jack cheese. Spice level, three of ten.

Heifer With Cheese

Our burger marinated in steak sauce, smoked beef brisket, cajun beef sausage, basil horseradish cream, aged white cheddar and fried onions. A pile of meat, enough said lol.

Overall 8.5 Chaus

Amazing staff and amazing food. I have food allergies (dairy) and we stopped here for the first time. We thought the burger i ordered was a safe bet, however it had hidden dairy. The chef/kitchen staff immediately noted my allergy and came out to work with me to make me a delicious burger I could eat. They were extremely helpful and the burger tasted amazing. I appreciate their attentiveness and highly recommend stopping in for great food!

I really REALLY wanted to give this place 5 stars because the food tasted good, service was friendly and the food came out quickly. I had the firehouse fries and bacon bomb burger. My friend had the cheesy fries. Unfortunately I got food poisoning 30 minutes later. Once my body had purged all the food (I'm not kidding. I went to two different bathrooms in the span of 2 hours), I had a short fever and chills throughout the night. My friend didn't get sick so I think it was the burger. I initially had plans to go back but not anymore.

Hate to say, that I don't understand all the hype. I'm never a fan of the order at a counter type of restaurant (which I didn't realize this was). Our burger didn't seem "made to order" since the person didn't ask how we wanted it prepared and it came out probably 2-3 minutes after we sat down. The bun seemed on the dry side. For our $50 lunch before tip (2 burgers, 1 order of plain fries, 1 beer, 1 wine) it was just average. Get your own plastic fork knife, and ketchup....clear your own table....don't need to go back.

The service was good, but unfortunately the food was not worth the price. I do not mind paying for good food, but the fries were burnt and everything was way too salty. The bulgogi fries were something I was so excited to try, but there was so much sauce on it the fries were inedible. For the price they charge I can NOT recommend this restaurant, I have already told everyone I know to stay away and do not waste your money. The shrimp poboy is actually just a sandwich, it is no where close to being a poboy. This restaurant is not good, my advice is to go somewhere else.

The service was great, and the menu is full of items I’d love to try. We ordered the deviled eggs, and they were seriously amazing! My son had the Little Cheesy from the kids’ menu, and it was impressively big. My husband and I split two burgers and shared the bulgogi fries. The burger was just okay and the bread wasn’t sturdy enough and fell apart easily. It was a mess. The bulgogi fries were very disappointing—they were overcooked and swimming in an overly sweet and heavy on the soy flavor sauce, making them hard to enjoy. I actually felt sick from a few bites. Unfortunately, we ended up tossing them. Overall, while there were some hits, the execution on certain items missed the mark for the price. I was hoping for better balance and quality.

I've been trying each and every restaurant in Huntsville, all except for seafood. Peppered Pig came up on my radar when looking for a good burger spot. I have to say that by far, especially per its prices, Peppered Pig was the worst in that category.
I can't even say one thing was wrong as just about everything during my visit was subpar to bad. The service was very rude, which was a first since moving to Huntsville. When I asked about the menu items, the person at the counter deferred all my questions to the menu. Menus don't talk. Lol. So that set the tone for what was to be a horrible visit.
When I finally chose something based on the quick summary on the menu, it was very pricey for what you received. You pay and take a seat. The meal took about 30 minutes. Yup, thirty minutes on a not so busy time. The restaurant was less than half full, so it was definitely not busy at all. While waiting for my food, I had hot sweet tea because the ice machine was broken & when told about it, the staff just shrugged their shoulder's. Another big lol on my part. One customer figured out that if you stick a plastic knife up the dispenser shaft, it let out a few cubes but would promptly stop. From what I heard from an employee was that the machine was STILL down, indicating it was an ongoing problem they weren't fixing.
Finally my food arrived and everything was off. SOMEHOW it was cold after the long wait. The bun they gave me was super hard and difficult to bite into and chew. The meat was undercooked even though I asked for medium well. I will say the lettuce and tomatoes were fine, but that's about the only thing that wasn't bad. Fast food places like Taco Bell have decent lettuce and tomatoes, so that wasn't a big compliment, lol.
Fishing for a way to say something at all positive about this place, I'll say that the Peppered Pig FOOD TRUCK is what seemed to put them on the map of popularity. Maybe they're better, I don't know. That terrible experience was enough Peppered Pig for me. Huge thumbs down, which is rare for me to say.
