Alli did a great job and the food was spectacular! We had a large party of 11 and Alli had outstanding service. We never waited on drinks and the atmosphere was super nice. Great job!

I went to dinner here last night with my boyfriend. The honey butter corn bread appetizer was yummy, but very thin and needed a bit more honey butter.
My entree, the Short Rib Wellington was DIVINE. By far the best thing we had all evening. However, my boyfriend’s steak was incredibly tough, even though it was cooked medium rare. It was the New York Strip, and for $54 dollars it was incredibly not worth the price. However, the duck stew it was served with was good. Skip the cream corn side dish, as it was a combination of creamed corn and elote, and somehow was less good than either dish normally is.

This one is tough. My fiance and I went here for our 1 year anniversary and was let down. The atmosphere is wonderful. Our service was incredible. The appetizers were good, but the portions were lacking. $18 for 2 one inch tacos and $19 for 2 spring rolls. I ordered the $45 snapper along with a side of mushrooms and was not impressed. I also ordered 2 $17 cocktails that were served in a wine glass full of ice, so 3 sips later, they were gone. We left feeling very disappointed and still hungry.

We had a great meal. We tasted almost all of the small plates. Our waiter, Scott expertly guided us in an incredible tasting experience. He also suggested places of interest to go see in the area! Loved my craft cocktail. We will be back! Scott timed our plates perfectly.

My wife and I had dinner for Valentines. They gave her a pretty long stem red rose which was very nice. They serve very small portions of food for the price. Lamb chops were good. NY strip was flavorful, but quite tough. The chairs were old blue upholstered office chairs that appeared to be 20-plus years old and shaky. We were told we weren't allowed to have outside drinks, and the large bouncer looking manager nicely told us he could poor out our water for us. I told him no thank you and returned our waters to our car. Geez! I just drank their water. I hadn't planned on purchasing a drink, but that alone is reason enough for me to never buy one of their drinks. That won't be an issue since I don't plan to return. The staff and server were nice. Oversll it was an interesting experience. so I'm glad we went. But here's just unnecessary rules and I didn't find the food to be worthy of the $153 we spent for the two of us.

This was a phenomenal dining experience! Everything from the food, the waitstaff, and the building itself was first class. My husband and I dined here to celebrate Valentine’s Day and took advantage of the special Valentine’s Day menu option. Every course was artfully presented and delivered an amazing taste experience. Our waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu, which was great since it was our first time dining here. The space we were seated in felt very intimate and added to the overall experience. I feel that the price of the menu items is fair considering the quality and presentation of them!!

Hubby, our daughter, son-in-law, and I came here before a concert. This may be the one in a thousand times that the food before was as good as the concert! Can’t wait to come back!

I don't even have words to express how wonderful dining at Purveyor continues to be. Every visit seems to outdo the last and the service, food, and drinks are always incredible. Hands down, the service at Purveyor is the best I've seen in Alabama. The chef's menu takes risks that seem impossible and truly delivers art in the form of food. Every host and server make you feel as though you're the only guest they're serving. I was waiting to use the ladies' room and a server (not mine) approached me and showed me to another to avoid even that short wait. The food and service are both unparalleled and I look forward to visiting again.

My bf and I had a table booked on a Saturday night, and our overall experience was unfortunately subpar.

For appetizers we ordered the Crab Springroll and the Tomato Crusted Burrata. Neither of the dishes stood out:

Crab Springrolls — I don’t recall tasted actual chunks of crab meats in my mouth, I think they were blended but honestly not much better than the ones that you can just get from the frozen aisles.

Tomato crusted Burrata — lol, I was so confused by this dish bc in my mind it’s Burrata cheese served with pan fried tomatoes slices, hence the crust. But nope! Tomato was not in sight at all but a ball of carnival-fried-dough looking thing being placed on top of two slices of zucchini 😭 when I finally asked the waiter about it, he said that it was tomato infused tempera dough that’s being fried with Burrata cheese inside! When we cut into it, the texture of Burrata was inconsistent—watery inside and chewy outside—and the dough tasted exactly like funnel cake…could not tasted the tomato at all and zucchini had no seasoning. It was a very awkward and counterintuitive dish.

We must have waited for our entrees for at least 40 minutes since we finished our appetizers. They did apologize for the delay and gave us two glasses of champagne on the house. However, the quality of the entrees didn’t quite live up to the prolonged anticipation:

Burger — bf complained that the patty was dry and that the burger was too tall to get a good bite. It also came with a side of fried Mac n cheese, but it was really nothing special about it and kinda over cooked.

Rack of lambs — my lambs were okay. I did like how they were cooked two ways, but it had too much fat surrounding the actual meat. It was really only 4 chunks worth of lean meat in total

Side of gnocchi (that was on the seasonal menu) — it was decent in terms in taste and texture, but still not blown away by it in any way

We did like the service provided by the staff but that was about it. I would suggest revising the menu a bit to make it more descriptive/ accurate and less confusing for the customers. If there is some sort of situation within the kitchen, I highly recommend keeping the customers updated with what’s going on. For the amount of time that we waited and the quality of the entrees, we felt as though the overall experience did not worth what we had paid for the meal ($200+) and would much rather have one of the dishes on the house instead of getting two glasses of free champagne. Also inside the restaurant is really loud and dim just fyi on the vibes of the place. I’m kinda upset by the experience since the locals spoke so highly of the place online. Unfortunately we will not be returning to the establishment, best of luck.

Oh, the cocktails were good, probably the only items that we ordered that we had no complaints about, shoutout to the bartenders.
