We stopped in Sunday for lunch between 11 and 11:15. We were going to a 1pm show at the VBC. At 12:10, we still hadn't received our food. It finally came out a few minutes later after asking a couple servers about it. My fries were cold and the chicken in the club sandwich was hard as a rock. Not a good experience all around. The bartender was nice, but overwhelmed. Really liked the harpist. We've been there a few times now, but will probably look elsewhere. Not really impressed with the food.

Came here for brunch on my birthday and was disappointed. I ordered the fried green tomato egg Benedict. The egg was overcooked- like a dry, solid boiled egg with a fully cooked yolk. This ruined the entire meal, as the runny yolk is what makes the dish. Next time I’ll just save my money and properly poach my own egg at home.

I do not recommend the rooftop. It’s not a great experience. The service is slower and menu is not the same as downstairs. It’s almost like you are at a different restaurant. They don’t have the same resources.

Second time there and this experience was not as good as the first. They were slammed with two concerts happening, and a theater show. Everyone came at one time to make their showtimes. The food was better the first time. This time it was more like banquet food. The trout sounded good, but the flavor was bland and the potatoes that came with it were undercooked. The filet was a nice cut of meat, but it came rare when it was ordered medium rare. The searing was good, and the quality made it palatable but otherwise I would have returned it to the kitchen. We only saw our waiter three times: for drinks, for the order and for the check. He never checked to see how the food was or how we were doing. The bar on the roof is a fun place but we suggest that you know go on a night with the Von Braun center is so busy. Meals, with one glass of wine and tax was $107 before tip.

This rating isn't for the food or service since we never had the opportunity to check those things out. Arriving a couple of hours early for a VBC event, and seeing that this place wasn't very crowded, we asked for an outdoor table. The host (manager?) explained that we'd have to wait because tables were being held for those who had reservations. No problem. We put our name on the list and took a seat. We'd been waiting for probably 15 to 20 minutes when another couple arrived and began chatting with a gentleman in the line. We heard them tell him that they did not have a reservation and he told them he didn't like to "name drop" but that he'd get them a table. Sure enough, he approached the host, said something to him, and they were seated right away. After sitting there another 20 minutes or so, we were told to go to the rooftop bar if we wanted to be seated. Guess it matters who you are as to how you get treated here. We won't be back.***UPDATE REPLY TO OWNER RESPONSE: I don't know what I could say in an email that would explain any better than what I've already stated in my review. I will say this: There was only one couple ahead of us when we signed in and they were seated in a matter of minutes. After that, several others who came in were seated while we were left waiting. We were okay with that since we just assumed that they had reservations. However, we specifically heard this couple (who came in much later) tell the person they were speaking to in the line (friend/relative/acquaintance?) that they did NOT have reservations. He informed them that he didn't like to "name drop", but that he would be able to get them a table. He then approached the gentleman working at the host stand and said something to him after which they were in fact, promptly seated. What more can be said except that we won't be back unless we become people who can name drop too? At this stage of life, I think that's pretty doubtful. LOL!
The blueberry desert is the best I've ever had!

We had my son’s engagement party on the rooftop. Stephen was fantastic to work with making arrangements. Tina, Stef, and Kyleah were so attentive to all of our guests and took such good care of us. The views were fantastic, everyone commented how great the food was, and every request was met with a yes and kindness!!
