Ordered pickup and was given the wrong order. When we got home and noticed it we brought it back but ended up standing there for nearly 20 minutes just to get someone to come give us a refund. It'd be one thing if it was busy but it wasn't and several employees were just wandering around and looking at us. One with a drink in hand not doing much of anything at all. It was my first time trying the place and it's disappointing.

We won a sushi platter in a recent contest, which seemed cool. Decided to stop in and asked the server Patrick about how to claim it. He said he'd need to confirm with his manager -- totally made sense. For the next 20+ minutes he then walked around our table ignoring us. He and his manager waited on every other table (all 6 of them) and ignored us even when we tried flagging them down. If they didn't want to have anyone claim the prize, don't offer one in the first place. I would have been happy to order off the menu at least but they never came around to take our order at all. The drinks came out in dirty glasses with some weird stuff on the lemons. Just got a dirty gross vibe all around. They can keep their platter. We won't be going back.

Place had some potential. Home Constructed menues. Not too shabby. Sticky tables. Prolonged greeting from the server. Server not familiar with in store beer and cocktails. *Delicious eggrolls!!!!* The spicy tuna roll seemed pre-made. Rice was almost crunchy. Not enough salmon roll options. Overall: mediocre at best....for now.

I'm very surprised at reading all these reviews of great food and service. Upon getting seated it took at least 5 or 6 minutes to be greeted by our server, it wasn't busy so that was discouraging. Serval servers walked by and didn't bother to check if someone had been with us, our server had a party next to us and attended them with drinks and things a few times before even walking over. He wasn't overwhelmed and they weren't running him. When he walked up he looked like he just rolled out of bed and put a dirty shirt on, just sloppy and unkept. He had ear phone's hanging out of his shirt and no apron on, for a moment I thought he was a cook. He wasn't rude or unfriendly, just looked unprofessional and unconcerned with his job. We got egg rolls and edamame to start and the egg rolls were very good. For entrees got a spicy tuna roll and the chicken and filet combo, the roll did not taste fresh and was not very tasty and the rice was stale. The filet was chopped into uneven little pieces and overpriced, the chicken was ok and the vegetables were pretty good. Had over server John come back to check on how everything was we probably would have sent it back, when finished we had to wait a while for the check. Will definitely not recommend this place return!

Food just wasn't good. Sushi is on par with most grocery stores, has that odd taste to it, maybe due to poor or not fresh ingredients. Jalapeño poppers were the worst I've ever had, edamame was alright but it seems hard to mess up when you just need to cook and salt it.

My personal favorite sushi restaurant in Huntsville, the staff is always great. The food itself is amazing fried or not. It’s atmosphere is one of a kind and the menus are very unique. The location is great with plenty of things to do in the area. If you’re stopping by or live in the area would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Wow okay this place ROCKS ? hahaha but no seriously, the sushi here is excellent. The variety is amazing, the staff is attentive, and the old school rock n’ roll vibes on the walls provide an 80’s type aesthetic which is really cool. Match this, and add the fact that it is surrounded by bars and Yellowhammer brewery, and you have yourself a pretty sweet spot to grab some food. Whether it’s with your sweetie or with the boys, it’s a pretty cool place to be. I’m excited to see what happens at Stovehouse! ?

Service was great! I had a good martini. Sushi was okay. I ordered a weird roll that had cucumber instead of rice. I will go back to try another one when I am in the area again. The bartender and other staff were very friendly and attentive.

I have enjoyed this place most of the time I have been, but I probably won't order take-out from here again. I called in my food and was given an estimated wait of about 15 minutes. I get there 15 minutes later, and they tell me to have a seat because it wasn't quite ready. I noticed some go-to boxes sitting on the counter and they continue to sit for another 20 minutes after I get there. Finally my food comes up, the server grabs the rice that had been sitting the entire time to go with it. I told her I would like the rice re-made since it was sitting so long, and they did and it didn't take too much longer. I was rather unhappy that they tried to give me cold food though. They were not busy enough for a small to-go order to take so long. And there was NO manager anywhere to be seen. I was equally frustrated by the fact that whenever I needed something, I had to ask a busy server who seemed to be entirely too busy to help me. Not the servers fault though, there was no bartender, and no manager nearby to help out and that is really what caused this.
