Got this delivered by GrubHub. The order was perfect. The fried chicken was nice and crispy. I got the wing and breast. The breast was a bit tough but still had moisture in it. It is hard to keep it fresh when the delivery service has 3 other stops before you. Because it was delivery I cannot comment on atmosphere. The collards were perfectly done and not shredded. The mac & cheese was not as cheesy as I like but was still really good. I would order it again! The hot-water corn bread was a new experience (hey I am a Yankee transplant) and was delicious! I will definitely be ordering from them again, and one day actually go to their shop.

Out of Towers randomly finding this place before hitting the road home. Best find ever!! Sweetest ladies, delicious food, great dining room. Definitely a 5 star experience.

I had chicken and dressing cabbage and yams. The chicken was old at least two days and dry. The cabbage was sweet. Never had cabbage with sugar and the yams were in the can juice.
Wonderful service! Even during COVID19 they bring out the food with a smile. Always my Favorite spot.
I enjoyed the atmosphere and the camroderie from the staff. I only had a drink, but the food is delicious. I may be biased because the owners are my family.If you enjoy southern cooking, this is definitely a place to go.

was driving on the parkway, and saw this place on the right. never heard of it. decided to roll the dice. so glad I did! fried chicken, pintos, cornbread, and fried green tomatoes. all amazing! they made my chicken fresh to order. it took a little time, but they made sure it was properly cooked. food is to go only. the staff was friendly. I will be back!
