Best pizza in the greater Huntsville area.Unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. Our waiter had the appearance of an unhappy dive bar patron (like not sure if he works here) but that didn’t really bother us.What bothered us was his attitude. From the moment we walked in, his attitude was borderline hostile and felt like underlying racial animus. Our waiter was black, I’m white and my wife has a Mediterranean look. Our friend who was with us happens to also be black so collectively we concluded it likely wasn’t racial, the waiter was just nasty to deal with generally.He was impatient to the point of rude, took my wife’s and my order plus a to-go order for family at home and walked away.My wife politely called him back and he was clearly annoyed. He completely ignored my friend not bothering to take his order.At the end of the meal we asked for two small to-go boxes, one for my wife and I and one for our friend’s left over food. He brought one because both of our meals could fit in one box.At the end of the meal he made a comment like “I suppose you want the check split.” Actually, I was buying for everyone that day.My wife is a tiramisu connoisseur and generally can not leave a restaurant that has it without ordering one. This guy’s attitude was bad enough we decided to just get the check and leave not wanting to deal with the attitude we expected from having to add more items to the bill. We drive to another place nearby and bought a couple servings of tiramisu.I’d definitely get pizza from The Boot again, but I’d get it to go.

The Boot Pizzeria is the best Italian in Huntsville! The cooking demos/classes with Elisa are the absolute best. Everyone there is so sweet and you will definitely feel welcomed.

This is the best pizza in the Tennessee Valley. I am born and raised in NJ and their pizza is authentic for sure. The basil oil they drizzle on top of the pizza is magical.

Came in 2/13/2023 @ 8:10. We were told this was an authentic Italian place. There was a triva game going on, and yet several tables were empty. The wait staff tried to seat two of us at a table the size of a pizza box, we asked for bigger table. After we waited ten minutes before the server came around. We order a large vegetable pizza and an appetite bread with cheese and tomato. 15 minutes later came the bread no table ware, strike one, bread was burnt strike two, 10 minutes later came the pizza 90% of the toppings were in the center middle hardly any one the outside third, and the vegetables must have been thrown on frozen cause the center of the pizza was mush, strike three. There was hardly any tomato sauce on the pizza what was there was not enough to taste. I asked for some marinara sauce and was brough what could have been tomato juice stone ice cold. Overall, no stars. No one came back to check on us, no refills, and when we asked for more tea she aid the kitchen had dumped it out. However, someone missed what looked to be but did not taste like tea.Ironically, there was a sign in the lobby for Italian cooking lessons. Maybe they should attend because any fast pizza joint beat this or even most frozen pizza. One star is a gift.

We came for dinner on a Saturday evening. Friendly staff and attentive server. We had the Chicken Parm, the Rigatoni and house salads. The salads were fresh and ample portion. However, both entrees were very average and the pasta was watery. Both dishes are baked and not flavorful - the chicken did not appear to be the typical pounded breast and it came cut in strips. Perhaps we should have ordered the pizza.

The perfect place to enjoy an authentic Italian meal. The food is outstanding and the bartender is friendly and wait staff very prompt and engaging. The eggplant Parmesan is amazing. If you are looking for a great experience they also offer cooking (mostly eating) classes which show you the Italian way.

The Boot is located on the parkway & there is some kind of hotel or apartments behind it. So as you go in, you are not sure about the restaurant from the outside. But, once you go inside, it's kind of cute. There is a bar as you 1st walk in with sports TVs above it, so it was pretty noisy where we sat. I think there are better situated tables where I think I saw them lead a family to. I ordered the Cannelloni Ricotta & Spinaci, which had quite a bit of spinach in it & a lot of cheesy sauce. It was delicious. My husband had the cheese steak pizza which he also enjoyed. They have a lot of different unusual pizzas on the menu. The waitress was very nice.Parking: There are about 4 spaces in front of the restaurant, which back up to the parkway. So it might take some maneuvering to get out if they are filled. The other spaces are by whatever that is behind it (hotel or apartments).
Stopped in for a bite and left full and satisfied. The food was GREAT. Met the owner and quickly made arrangements to come back for a cooking class. The Bar Tender was cool as well. Definitely on my list of great places to eat in Huntsville.
