I can’t believe I’ve not reviewed this place before. My only guess is I didn’t want it to get too popular/crowded! My favorite bar in Huntsville! So many things to like about it, but the bartenders and servers are truly the best— shout out to Connor, who is just so great! Even though their taps rotate often, anyone who works there is always quick with the recommendations and so knowledgeable about what they have. And in a sea of all the new bars in Huntsville/Providence aiming for an ‘up-scale’ experience, this just makes me love Casual Pint even more! It’s such a down to earth place to grab a quick drink and mingle with the rest of the people around the bar. It’s clean, chill, and reasonably priced.

Nice place to meet with friends and colleagues after work. Be specific when ordering though, ordered an item on the happy hour menu, and specified that I could wait a few more minutes in order to receive the “happy hour” price, and waiter inputted my order at the moment which was at 1453 instead of 1500, happy hour was not honored, few minutes short.. :( so I left disappointed since my criteria to return to a business is service. What I consumed was good.

The Casual Pint in Huntsville is an absolute favorite. Great beer selection — from local brews to unique seasonal picks — and the staff knows their stuff. Outstanding selection of beers both on-tap and available for purchase, but good luck getting service; my two friends and I were ignored by the two sullen-faced twenty-sonething girls circling the floor and talking together in the corners for so long that we opted to just get up and go to the bar for our second round. When they did finally come by after seeing that happen, they were still both dismissive and in such a hurry to get away again that a drink order got missed entirely. It's a shame, this used to be a fun spot, but the poor service we got last time is definitely a deterrent now.

Generic bland food. Slow service. Noisy environment. Surprising lack of options on their extensive beer menu. Lots of IPA’s, sour Goses and stouts, but not much else.
