Staff was very friendly (warmed up our dessert cookie!) but the food was a bit too oily for my super smart and hot girlfriend and I. We liked the range in the menu and would probably come back to try more. Happy that this is an option in the area. Updated from previous review on 2026-01-04

I hate hate hate to post a bad review. I was really looking forward to trying the food. I recently moved to Muscle Shoals but was fairly close to Huntsville on a Saturday so I drove about 15 more miles to try it out. They were out of many of their main items that I wanted to try. So I decided to have a shrimp po' boy. I also got a glass of their ($4) hibiscus water. I got the drink and sat down. 10 minutes passed, then 15, then 20. I asked if my order was coming out soon and they said yes, preparing it now. They bring it out and it was just the shrimp basket, not the sandwich. So I asked for a refund and left, not planning to return. Sorry, but it's too far to drive to have a bad experience like that. Even if I'm in the area, I doubt I will go back.

I just ordered from this place and the cashier got my order wrong and instead of fixing it, I just got a sorry. I ordered the chikin club with the side vegetable for $1. I asked the cashier when I was ordering what is the side vegetable, she went to the back and asked and said it was a salad, I said okay, give me that. I told her to also to give me the sweet potato fries but with no sugar on them. When I get my receipt, something looks off because it says add grilled vegetables. I pointed this out to the cashier and said I didn’t want that but the salad, she responded by saying oh the receipt just says grilled vegetables, I said okay. As I was looking at my receipt, I’m like how does this make sense but then I was like let me just get the food. When I get the food, which took a long time to get even though I was the only person in the restaurant, I realized the salad is not there. So I say to the cashier where is the salad, she then points to lettuce on the sandwich almost touching it. I told her I don’t want you to touch it, I then say, I thought the salad was an extra $1, how is this the salad. She then responded with oh it’s either the salad or the sweet potato fries, I’m sorry I wasn’t clear. When I look at my recipe and the actual sandwich, she put in an order for grilled vegetables on the sandwich which I didn’t ask for that. The grilled vegetables were an extra $2.50 and what I wanted was an extra $1. Not only did I not get what I ordered, I was charged more. When I said something, the cashier and someone else at the register was looking at the computer screen. As opposed to offering me the salad like I ordered, I was given a sorry. I will never come back here. The complete disregard for customer service when the cashier got the order WRONG and made no attempt to correct the issue. I clearly left the place disappointed and they didn’t care. I’m their target customer as a plant based eater but the poor customer service makes this place now like any other restaurant that only offers meat, I will never be back.

Will not return. Food was fine, but the experience was not. We were looking forward to trying this place. Came by on a Saturday afternoon around 6, but they were already closed (even though their posted hours say 7pm). Came back around noon on Sunday. Ordered 2 simple meals and waited over an hour for them. Saw multiple other customers who came in after us order their food, receive it, eat, and leave while we waited. Had to go back up and ask for the status, and the response was just that the food was cooking. I think they lost the order. No clear explanation or apology. Not worth the wait or hassle.

I love their food but have a hard time recommending to anyone because of how long the food takes sometimes. I’ll usually order two Philly melts and it will take somewhere between 20-45 minutes even when there are hardly any other orders. I order take out every time because no one in their right mind should sit there and wait that long inside. They could use extra help in the kitchen to help prevent outrageous ticket times. Keep up the good food guys just telling it like it is.

Would give 5 stars since I have had good food previously from here. But, today I tried to place an online order and the website was not working. So I called to place an order but they would not take orders over the phone. They said to just keep trying.
No respectable food service should turn down a phone order, especially when the online ordering is not working. They should treat customers better.
The Veggie has lost me as a customer.

This place is absolutely amazing! We tried the turmeric nachos with guacamole 🥑, the buffalo shrimp poboy, their regular seasoned fries, their sweet potato fries, and the cluckster. Literally everything was amazingly delicious and fresh!! The staff was super friendly. The girl at the counter had so much positive energy. Give this place a try. You will not regret it at all.

I looked up this restaurant before visiting Alabama. I was excited to try their food and support their business. Although my lions mane was slightly salty the food overall was good. The customer service however was terrible.

I ordered two meals for my wife and I. I was asked if I wanted fries or sweet potatoes fries. I clearly replied that I wanted sweet potatoes fries. When the food came, one order came with regular fries. I expressed immediately that we didn’t order that. You would think this would be a simple fix, but no.

The staff told me they’ll give the chef the order of sweet potato fries and it will take about 10 minutes. 10-15 minutes later the staff comes back out and quietly addresses my wife letting her know that they won’t be making the sweet potato fries because the order on the ticket said “house” fries. Once my wife let me know what they said I go to address the issue only to receive a “sorry, this is what you ordered”. This was my first time there. I never even knew regular fries were called house fries, but was told I asked for “House” fries.

I asked to speak to the owner Chef Adyre and was told she won’t speak to me. I was told she wouldn’t come out because they were too busy, so she won’t come out. I try to get her attention by calling “Chef” multiple times calmly. She heard me, looked at me, and ignored me. This made me regret supporting this establishment.

The fries are not important, but the customer service here definitely is subpar.

I’d recommend this restaurant for food but I’d express caution and make sure they have your order correct before you pay.

I can tell the business doesn’t truly care about their customers.

This is one of those restaurants that makes you think hmmm maybe I can be vegan! I got the snack wrap it was delicious. I will be back!

The food is delicious. Much more flavorful than I anticipated. I ordered a quesadilla and my parents had wraps with fries. We were all pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. Portions were also great. I ordered food and then ran some errands that took longer than I planned. When I returned to pick up the food I was greeted with warm smiles and food that was still nice and hot. I’d highly recommend this establishment!

If you don't think you like vegetarian dishes this is a place you need to try. I am not a vegetarian and not veggie inclined but the Smokey impossible Bowl was delicious! There isn't much seating inside and many times there are doordashers taking up tables so if it were a busier time you may have an issue getting a table.
