Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I go there a lot….Great smoothies. The thing is when you go through the drive thru the only thing they are worried about is sticking the credit card machine out the window and asking for a tip. When you explain you can’t see the screen they act aggravated and huff and puff and then they take your credit card and do it themselves. I get it you want a tip but that shouldn’t be your main concern. 3 different visits now and this is common practice with them now. Perhaps you should work on customer service and then tips would come your way.

Went there the other day for a quick breakfast. Ordered a chicken wrap and a kale and apple slaw. Less than $10. Took it to go.

When I finally sat down to eat the wrap was ice cold, had no chicken in it, just wilted lettuce and sauce, and the slaw looked gross. Drove back to return it and they offered to “make it right.” I was pressed for time so I decided I wanted a refund. I had paid by card so the manager, after personally inspecting the wrap I had brought back, said it would take a few business days to receive my refund.

As of today, it’s been over a week, and they charged my account for the food I returned. I do not foresee a refund in the immediate future, so I’m writing this in hopes that you don’t make the same mistake I made eating here.

This brings to mind the tip culture that is struggling nowadays. I never, ever tip after ordering from a fast food place and situations like this is the reason why. Too often I am finding out too late that my order is missing items or completely wrong. If I feel the need to inspect my food immediately after you hand it to me to ensure it is correct, should establishments really be “asking you some questions” with their tablet after you place your order?

At the very least the people working there were polite, but I guess they don’t care enough to make the food right. And to the manager, if you really wanted to “make things right”, you should’ve just given me the refund I asked for instead of keeping my money.

Ordered via Uber eats. I bought 2 green island detox's and a paradise point. One of the island detox's was supposed to have blueberry,chia,ginger,spin/kale pack, and probiotic. It definitely does not seem to have any of these. The blueberries usually turn it blue, and I should see chia seeds and there's zero ginger flavor. Paid like almost 20 bucks for this. Based on flavor i wouldn't say it has much of anything in other than it's green. All 3 drinks were flavorless to.

I always enjoy getting a Bahama mama smoothie…

Service was awesome. It's a great clean area to sit and enjoy my smoothie, sandwich, and chips.

Smoothies kind of expensive but they are delicious!

Stopped at this Tropical Smoothie on January 31,2025 at 5:27pm. The speaker went out when the women working went to take my order. I pulled up to place my order at the window since the speaker was not working. The woman working was incredibly rude and only said one thing when I placed my order. She opened the window and I asked for a smoothie. She closed the window immediately, plugged in my order, opened up the window and told me the price and took my card, closed the window again. This women working was incredibly rude and unfriendly, completely irritated to take my order and make my smoothie. What a shame that TropicalSmoothie hires such unfriendly staff who are working in customer service roles.

I'm there often and aside from the drive thru length being short (not much they can do about that) I have nothing to complain about. They do a good job and I've never gotten bad service. Alex is always super friendly.

Friendly service with a smile from a teen employee taking and receiving our different orders. Worth the wait in the drive thru. Drinks were fresh.

Weird i wasn’t able
to get everything i paid for but i order from here often and usually have no issues but ik disappointed and hungry a few nights ago from tropical smoothie around the same time and i got my baja wraps and everything was perfect no problem. On the app they close at 9:45. My doordasher Kimberly was very helpful despite it all and still brought my chips and drink.
