Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar

We had a great experience at Tupulo Honey on a Saturday afternoon. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was upscale, and the server was attentive and patient. I got the southern chicken BLT, which I highly recommend. The sandwich was juicy and favorful! I will definitely go back to try other items on the menu, as it was hard to choose since everything looked so good!

My bf and I initially went to The Salt Factory and sat for about 15 min without being greeted by a server before we decided to walk across to Tupelo Honey. We were sat promptly and had a server come over after about 5 min to get our drink order. We asked about the promotion we had seen online for the BOGO entrees and he knew nothing of it! He sent his manager over and she basically told us that she wouldn’t be honoring what was clearly in black and white! We decided to stay and have the fried green tomatoes that were lacking in flavor. We asked for our check and waited another 15 min before we left money for bill and tip on the table and left.

The service industry in general is lacking and it’s disheartening when that is 50% of the experience for us!

My boyfriend and I visited Tupelo Honey in Knoxville, Tennessee for brunch and absolutely loved it. The food was fantastic from start to finish. You have to order the homemade biscuits with their selection of house-made jams — they were phenomenal and honestly reminded me of my mom’s homemade biscuits, which says everything.

Everything tasted incredibly fresh and perfectly prepared, with those warm, comforting flavors that feel like home. Even the coffee was amazing, which is always a big win for brunch. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy, making it a perfect brunch spot.

We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Knoxville. Highly recommend!

Food was phenomenal. However was told I couldn’t order a drink from the bar before 10am because it’s “illegal in Alabama”. No other restaurant in town has this law and even liquor stores are open at 9am.

Delicious food, some of the best Huntsville has to offer. Service is good but slow when it gets busy. Atmosphere is modern and very clean. Would be a good spot to celebrate an occasion with loved ones.

Cold food, crusty hard biscuits, chicken in the sandwich was very rubbery/ tough. This restaurant should be used for emergency food use only if there is no other restaurant open to eat at. Also, the price to value ratio is ridiculous. If honey is in the name why does the server take the honey off the table before the end of your meal? Honestly reminded me of grabbing leftovers out of the fridge.
