Typing this as I sit, it has been 30 minutes the server has not given us or the 5 people who have walked in a drink but he has obsessively sorted and resorted the tickets about 6 times and then avoids us to serve the last people in. we got here at 10:30 it is now 1105 and he is now taking EVERY ORDER he avoided while mumbling and avoiding eye contact through the serving process so if the other waffle house had inside dining we'd be there happily eating

Food is great, but will not keep me coming. I just learned all servers get a âmeal creditâ taken out of their checks. One for every shift that they work. This is not optional. Even if my server didnât eat that day, she or he still gets charged for the meal. That is ridiculous. You mean to tell me that the money I AM LEAVING THE SERVER, NOT CORPORATE, is going to corporate anyways? Will not be dining at any Waffle House until this is changed to where the server doesnât get charged if they donât eat. Do better.
