Oysters from R&A are a Grade A/5 Star product. I have a temporary work assignment in Mobile and regularly travel home to Georgia. I bring R&A Oysters home on a regular basis for friends and family. Everyone has been super pleased with the oysters. They are fresh, plump and super clean. I'm going to miss this extra special treat when my assignment ends.

Great experience delivering fresh out of the sea oysters here at R&A. I was worried at first because nearest trailer washout was Hammond, LA to get all the sea water out. But as soon as they finished unloading me (about 40 minutes) they let me washout the trailer with their super water hose. Very much appreciated. I'd deliver here again without second thought.

So let me be honest when doing these reviews the type of person I am is I not going to lie about a place that I deliver to if they were slow then I will say that if they were nice and gote unloaded so I can get back on the road then I will say that but delivered to this place twice and both times great experience in and out in know time
R&A was recommended by a friend and so I tried them. Access was easy and the place was very clean and surprisingly no smell of the oysters and dead fish like so many others. Clearly, I was at a processing plant and not a retail outlet. But, everything was handled like a retail store other than I was given a gallon/5 lbs. of oysters shucked TODAY (12-23-20) with a Sell-By date of Jan. 8. I could only get fresher oysters at an oyster bar where they shuck them when I order. As I was about to leave, a guy on a fork lift drove up and asked if I had been helped. I recoginized him from their web site. He was a VP and son of the owner. I look forward to many oysters in the future from R&A.

Thanks guys an's ladies in the office for relaying my messages so that someone would be waiting. Cary is the only name I remember, but everyone is great there.

I ordered a box of oysters from my local butcher shop for Christmas Eve, not knowing where they would come from. I must say these were the best oysters I’ve had in quite some time, they were very nice size oysters, I would call them medium to large if I had to describe them. They also were very clean shells, no mud in the hinge. I hope next Christmas Eve is the same.
