My husband heard the ribs were on the list of foods you must eat before you die and has never looked back. He says they are the best ever. This place is our go to for entertaining visiting family from out of town. Everyone always enjoys.
The food was amazing, but it took forever to come out, or at least it felt that way as it was 90*+ and they really don't have adequate a/c. It was incredibly uncomfortable to eat in that heat, but on a more mild day, I would like to return.

Unfortunately I visited Cooters with my family in late June and their AC was on the fritz. Despite this there was a 20 minute wait to be seated. So we thought "let's just get it to go". Then we hear that take out orders are a minimum 30 minute wait. So we decided to just eat in and deal with the heat. If the food had been great I would have ignored the whole AC issue. I ordered a half rack of ribs. The ribs were very good. But the sides, which are not included...
