“Had an awesome experience tonight at FISH CREEL. We just got back from a long trip and was craving some good old fashion, southern catfish. I ordered catfish and the server informed me sorry sir we sold out of catfish today. I was joking with her and told her to tell the owner whom we know personally to tell him as a joke that we drove 1400 miles for catfish to our surprise he had two held aside for his own personal meal for when he gets off his long shift and he courteously gave them to me and I was so excited I had already ordered the marinated ribeye, so not only did I have the marinated ribeye that I ordered +2 whole catfish that we’re going to be his own personal meal I am very thankful not only did I enjoy the awesome catfish, but now I have a whole ribeye sandwich for lunch tomorrow Thanks so much to the team and the owners of FISH CREEL. I have been a faithful customer to this place for about 35 years and would recommend it to anyone. God bless.”

“This is a soul/southern food buffet. There's a hot bar, salad bar, and a variety of desserts. We visited for Sunday lunch. Everything we ate was really good, especially the fried chicken, fried okra, and chicken and dressing. The restaurant is clean and service is friendly. We enjoyed it!”

“What an awesome little bar. My husband and I met a couple friends here, which was our first time inside. We’ve been here a few times, it’s our stopping point when we go to the flea market on our motorcycle. It hasn’t been open when we went just because it was early in the day but we talked about going all the time . So glad we went. The owners are so sweet and very friendly. The girl that waited on us was pretty nice and on point most of the night. We are before we got there, so I don’t know about the food. Our friends were eating, and their food looked pretty tasty. We ran a tab and when we left was under 20. So quite happy we made it out finally. We will definitely be going back”

“We've been stopping by the Waltons restaurant for many years and it's not far from the Wheeler Dam and it's between Town Creek Elgin Crossroads and Rogersville off of Alabama Highway 101! Every time we've stopped there we always have an excellent meal! Excellent service! And excellent ambiance! I highly recommend it!”

“That heavier set woman THREW my sandwich together like a BOSS. Didn't short me on the meat like most subways, used only perfect looking tomatoes on my sandwich.My sandwich is PHAT and perfectly round. She did a Dragon Ball Z destruco-disk back into the bin with the rest of the tomatoes she didn't have to use. I'm coming back to this one from now on when I'm in the area. First time to this one. Overall 11/10. Ready to hurry up and get home to eat this bad boy. She knew what she was doing! Promote her to regional so she can show everyone how to do it right! “Alexia D provided excellent customer service this morning. She had a genuine smile on her face, repeated our potentially confusing order back to us perfectly, and hand delivered it to our table. With the exception of the eggs(they were good fast food eggs), the food was cooked to perfection. The biscuit and gravy took me right back to my childhood days when my dad would buy it for me on my way to Mawmaw's house.”

“The butterfly shrimp was ok but the catfish and steak was absolutely amazing. The steaks were juicy, tender, and very well seasoned. The fish was well filet and didn’t have that nasty fishy taste like most places. I can say I am very impressed because initially I was worried about the steaks but I can personally say that was the most delicious medium steak I have had in a very long time. I will say their medium steak was more enjoyable than brass lantern and Cracker Barrel.”

“We had an amazing waitress. She was on top of everything the entire visit. I wish I had remembered her name. They actually have authentic homemade tamales. If you haven’t tried them, it is a must. They are delicious! I will definitely go back for more tamales.”

“Very friendly staff and sandwiches were good. The only reason I gave a 4 out of 5 is because the vegetables were NOT fresh. Lettuce was brown.So we opted not to put Lettuce on our subs. Staff was quite friendly and without prompting from me cashier used a coupon, I really appreciated that.”

“Hate to say it but Loretto Sonic is better than Summertown Sonic. Last time at Summertown our burgers were cold. In Loretto they hot and fresh thank you Loretto Sonic!”

“Just went through drive thru and got chicken tenders with fries, with honey mustard and a bologna melt sandwich with only cheese. Didn't get any honey mustard, bologna sandwich had everything on it and didn't get the first napkin. Would recommend going inside to eat or check the order before leaving drive thru. Employee at window was nice and got quick service.”
