Mel had the Marguerita Pizza, our daughter and her boyfriend had sushi and a couple sushi rolls, in addition our daughter had the parmesan crusted grouper, I had the red snapper also parmesan crusted like the grouper. Overall the food was not bad but a bit pricey, our one complaint was everything on the fish plates, my daughter and I had, was hard to tell where the fish was as the vegetable medley, risotto and fish were of similar color and (in my opinion) mixed together (presentation could have been better). I think the fish was on top of the vegetable medley and risotto but hard to tell?. As a funny one, I had to put my reading glasses on to see if a piece of yellow swash was another lemon wedge. Our time together was still excellent, waitress was excellent and the atmosphere was very nice...

We had a decent experience at this restaurant, but it didn't quite live up to expectations...

Food was a mixed bag. Ahi nachos were delicious, and the parmesan crusted grouper w/ risotto was amazing. Fish of the day was lackluster, and snapper throats were beautiful but taste was only so-so. Lemon creme brulee was perfect. We didn't try the sushi, but saw some going by that looked amazing. Portions are quite large (too large IMO!) on the appetizers.

Service... this was barely acceptable. We did hear other tables getting better service, but our server wasn't on point. At one point my husband knocked over a glass, and it broke (all contained on the table). Embarrassing enough, but they she called over an entire mop and broom guy, which was unnecessary (he also decided this on arrival, and got a small rag instead). Also didn't bring us another napkin. She didn't tell us anything about the specials, didn't ask about an occasion (our anniversary), etc, kind of the minimum level of service.

Atmosphere was good - I liked the chandeliers all over, and the art was interesting. Not too loud. I also like the story behind the name - a civil rights leader!

Overall, for the price ($120/person for two drinks, app, and dinner, + tip), I'd expect quite a bit more.

It’s rare to find a place where both the cuisine and the service are equally outstanding, but Chuck Fish Madison delivered on every front. We were a little skeptical because, well Chucks Fish doesn't scream gourmet seafood. But man am I glad we went. We all ordered different fish plates and they were all fantastic. I mean some of the best seafood I've had in a while (I'm born and raised in FL so I'm a bit of a seafood snob). My 7yo daughter got a California roll and miso soup. She loved it! Idk... She loves Sushi now. The manager came by at least 4 or 5 times to make sure everything was good and was very nice and friendly. He mentioned a kids menu coming soon so hopefully it'll have a California roll option. I literally have nothing bad to say about this place. If your on the fence, check them out. You'll be glad you did!!!

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner at Chuck‘s Fish Madison. We had the calamari, a sushi roll, Parmesan crusted grouper and red snapper. Everything was delicious and our dessert was lovingly decorated.

Delicious meal and experience! Great atmosphere and surroundings, super clean, excellent customer service. Manager came around to check on us even though they were slammed. We had spring rolls, sushi, hot honey pepperoni pizza & kids fish.. was sooo good! To top it all, we had blueberry cheesecake and the blondie - amazing! Highly recommend & we will definitely be back!
