It almost pains me to write this because I’m an Edgar’s fan and have been for 20 yrs. I stopped by the Madison location to pick up a Bday cake for my wife. I picked out a delicious buttercream (My wife’s favorite) and paid. The young man then began to box up my cake. I asked: “can you write Happy Birthday on it for me please?” To which he replied “we have no one hear to write on the cake.” That’s fine. Staffing issues happen. But…he should have informed...
Edgars is easy to get to and lots of extra parking. Staff is always friendly and helpful. They have the drink stations behind the registers (not self-serve) so that can slow things down. Lots of seating, even for groups, and good outdoor seating if weather isn't too cold. Had a bacon, egg, cheese croissant which needed more salt believe it or not. Blueberry muffin was just okay. I was not overwhelmed by the food but it was fine and vibe was upbeat.
