Thanks for great experience for lunch today. Service was excellent.
Was our first time for our Anniversary! It was so sad that they served us not just raw, but cold steak. It felt very rushed but I am just glad the service was good and they replaced it.
The first time we ate there it was amazing!! However, we just ate there again over the weekend and it was not so great. My wife's order was overcooked (Halibut) and it was the feature of the day and she said the smashed potatoes did not have any seasoning. My son got the steak taco's and he said they were good except for the Pico....something tasted funny with it. Mine was good for the most part except when I got down to eating the last medallion it was cold.

J. Alexander's Restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere, allowing for easy conversation and a comfortable ambience. Portion sizes are generous, and the Carrot Cake is exceptional. The food is delicious, with the Cajun-style ribeye being a highlight, perfectly cooked with flavorful seasoning. While service can be great and top-notch, it can also be unpredictable, sometimes taking forever. Some staff are attentive and friendly, making the meal enjoyable. Be aware that dietary restrictions, including salt issues, may not be easily accommodated.
