La Placita is hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant! The staff is always so friendly, and the customer service is top-notch. Every visit feels special, and the food never disappoints. Highly recommend it!

My husband and I had dinner tonight at La Placita (our first time dining there since the new owners have taken over). My husband had the #15 dinner combo and I had the #13 combo. We were both very happy with the choice we made. The food was very fresh and tasty, arrived piping hot to the table. The service was fantastic. Kudos to Riko and Mattie. Top notch service with a smile. Stop by and welcome them to Madison, you won’t regret it.

We went last Friday evening because of all the good things being said. We were seated right away. Service throughout our dinner was pretty good. The chips were a little thicker than we like, but the salsa made up for it. The salsa was great!
My wife had a top shelf margarita and I had just a regular one. Whewww, they were strong!
I had a chicken chimichanga. My wife had a taco salad with chicken. My chimichanga was delicious, freshly made and fried to perfection. My rice and beans were just lukewarm in temperature. The guacamole was excellent! My wife had no complaints about her taco salad. Overall, I consider this location as typical Mexican fanfare and encourage all to try it. Most will probably like it.

La Placita is back!!! The food is spectacular and the service by Mark, Rico and the Sweet Madison was awesome! Great atmosphere and great food…can’t beat that! We had the steak fajitas, were the bomb, and the L4 combo! We will be back!

It was our first visit. Our waiter was very nice and he took very good care of us. I got beef fajitas, it was a generous portion and cooked perfectly. My wife got the combo chimichanga. Everything was very good.

Since changing owners, this restaurant has become our go to. Everything we’ve had has been delicious. We really love that they use fresh herbs and degrease their ground beef dishes. It has become a regular for us. The pictures are of L5 with beef taco & tostada & a chicken enchilada with green sauce. Their green sauce is different than any I’ve found anywhere else. Its delicious! The other picture is the Lunch Burrito Supreme. It was stuffed full of deliciousness and topped by guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, tomato amd cheese. It also came with rice and beans. We always drink water, so our total before tip was under $22! We brought home as much as we ate and the leftovers are just as good warmed up. We have also had the lunch chile relleno and it is wonderful also! We are so happy this restaurant is so good! It the only Mexican restaurant open on Sunday in Madison that we know of.

Went here for the first time a couple days ago. Maddie took excellent care of us and the food was phenomenal! Came back again today and the food was just as good. Mark is doing a great job running this place and I will be back super soon. Be on the lookout because they have some big things in the works here!!
