Phil Sandoval's Mexican Restaurante

Phil’s is a great, consistent Mexican restaurant! The big fish tacos are always a fan favorite for us. The tortillas are fresh and so fluffy. I would pay to have those delivered daily 😂 We get the deluxe cheese dip and an order or tortillas for our appetizer and it always hits the spot.
Service is typically good, nothing wild there.
Only downside is that the Madison location doesn’t have the free ice cream like the Huntsville location. The churros end the meal nicely though!

We love coming here! In a time when many of our favorite restaurants are cutting corners and are inconsistent at best, we know everything here will be spot on.
We’ve been eating here since they opened and they never disappoint! The service is extremely quick and friendly, and the food is delicious! Our favorite is the grilled chicken quesadilla, Mexican rice and refried beans, which is served piping hot. My husband also gets the queso blanco dip to go with the Tostito chips, and it is delicious, so rich and creamy!
Thanks for being such a consistently great place to eat!

We had a very good lunch at Phil Sandoval's. We arrived shortly after they opened and were seated right away. Daniel did an excellent job taking care of us. My wife ordered the beef quesadilla and said it was very good. It came with rice and beans. I had the beef burrito, and it was also very good. Yes, it came with rice and beans. The chips were delicious, both thin and crisp. The food came to our table very quickly. We will be back to eat again when in Huntsville.

Love me some Phil's. Personally think it's better than Rosie's and I'm sure glad they opened a spot out in Madison. They've got all the standard fare of the original, but unfortunately not he free ice cream. Talk about a HUGE oversight. Docking a star for this.

Since we have kods, we prefer the one in Huntsville for the free treat after a great meal, but this one still hits all the marks.

Management needs to get an ice cream machine out here too!

I hate to say it but this was the blandest Mexican food I have ever had. The tortilla chips were also greasy and very thin.

We visited here again tonight because our previous first visit was phenomenal (with server Leah). But this was the worst service here tonight. We asked for salsa & chips 3 times, asked for napkins 4 times, asked for to -go containers twice... which we never received,
Our tortillas were cold....one of the main reasons we like Phil Sandoval's is for their fresh homemade tortillas. I doubt we'll be back to this location because of tonight's service. There are far too many wonderful restaurants nearby to tolerate poor service.
