Service was fabulous and the ambiance as well.

Food for me was subpar...coming from Seattle its been difficult to find food that is the same quality.

Also having Mexican in laws and tasting authentic Mexican food doesn't help me either. I have a picky pallete.

If you are like me...maybe give this place 3 tries without any expectations and see for yourself.

I ordered the poblano soup and shrimp tacos....

Phil’s is a great, consistent Mexican restaurant! The big fish tacos are always a fan favorite for us. The tortillas are fresh and so fluffy. I would pay to have those delivered daily 😂 We get the deluxe cheese dip and an order or tortillas for our appetizer and it always hits the spot.
Service is typically good, nothing wild there.
Only downside is that the Madison location doesn’t have the free ice cream like the Huntsville location. The churros end...

We love coming here! In a time when many of our favorite restaurants are cutting corners and are inconsistent at best, we know everything here will be spot on.
We’ve been eating here since they opened and they never disappoint! The service is extremely quick and friendly, and the food is delicious! Our favorite is the grilled chicken quesadilla, Mexican rice and refried beans, which is served piping hot. My husband also gets the queso blanco dip to go with the Tostito...
