Food is good,but my son loves it. Update 03/06/2025‐ Stopped by for breakfast. Service was very fast a n day food was good and hot as always! Update 10/03/2025 Once again my son and I stopped by for lunch. Food seems better today but it's always good.

Placed an order at 1:50, with only a couple other cars parked. Waited 32 minutes to receive the order.
Once we received the order, items were missing and our drinks were mixed with another vehicle. After requesting our missing items and correct drinks we waited another 15 minutes to get lukewarm fries and no new drinks.
Impressively poor experience.

Half the screens are dead, the other half can't hear you, even if you do order the order won't be right. You're better off going elsewhere. This place should have been turned into a parking lot for the old Chick-fil-A.

The entire outside of the store just looks gross. Spider webs everywhere mold and mildew rust on all of the steel obvious roof leaks and algae growing underneath the awnings and they also tend to be pretty slow at getting your food out

The server was horrible!! She just shoved the food in my car windows and milkshake and said have a good night and walked off.. we waited 30 min on food.. she had a attitude and was really nasty. Was not professional and look like she had on pajamas and didn't know she lost her cash tip. Pitiful..
I have been addicted to sonic onion rings and banana shakes forever. A few years ago I again went to Sonic on 72 highway and ordered my usual. Much time went by; Im guessing maybe 45 minutes. I finally got out of my car and went to the manager and complained. He immediately produced what I thought was my order. I grumbled home and upon opening the bag, found a stange different order than the one I had placed. Indignantly I returned and was somewhat disturbed, admittedly. The manager grabbed the bag and threw it in the trash and told me not to come back. I'm trying to be neutral in my description because of my obvious anger at the entire debacle. Judge for yourself, dear reader, as to what blame to place where. I rest my case.

Carhop is so rude. Ordered a single drink and was therefore going to pay using some spare quarters i had. Counted them out in advance and was going to hand them to her when she said in a very rude tone “no i’ll just refund you” and stomped off. last i checked quarters were money and were more than reasonable to pay for a drink that costs a few dollars. Will not be going back to this location.

Hey Sonic on Hwy 72 in Madison, do you know what happened in 2013? The US still had troops in Afghanistan. Robert Bentley was the Governor of Alabama. And I’m pretty sure the tater tots I ordered today at your location at lunchtime were cooked and placed under a warming light just waiting for 12 years for you to put them in my bag (today). On a serious note though, it’s tater tots y’all, and it was lunchtime (12:15 pm) and my tater tots look like they were cooked forever ago. My French toast sticks were hot and fresh but the tots, which are probably one of your most popular items were cold and hard and shriveled looking. Just 😑

Absolutely horrible I would not recommend I asked for my change back they stole a dollar from my change obviously didn't bring it up because didn't want to bring drama but this place is not a good place to recommend I'd recommend the Sonic on county line road
