Excellent food and the atmosphere was good. We had crab cakes, red snapper and salmon. I would have liked more capers on my salmon but it was still very good.

Have gone to Fox Valley so many times and wanted to try the knockoff Fox Valley. Did not enjoy crab cakes and my dining partner said his nut crusted fish was piled upon chards of butter. For the prices and quantity of food I won't be back.

Just called to do an order for pick up at 6:42pm. I was told they were too busy. Business must be going great so much so that they can turn down a loyal customer. I will never order from here again. I’m sure the owner loves that the staff is turning away customers. I do not recommend this restaurant!!

Best service, best people! I dropped in for takeout last night, and was interested in their homemade seafood gumbo. They offered me a sample before I invested in it. It was very good! One of the owner’s, Danny, was at the bar and struck up friendly conversation with me while I was waiting on my food. We got on the topic of crab cakes, and I stated I was always leery of them because I never knew if they would be too fishy or not. He offered to throw one of their signature crab cakes with my to-go meal, at no charge. Very kind people, and great customer experience! I will def be back when in town. Btw, the crab cakes are amazing!!

Truly a hidden gem. The crab cakes are legendary and rightly so. Gourmet dishes in a casual atmosphere at a fair price. Chef Dan personally checked on us and it was greatly appreciated as first time diners.

Had crab claws for an appetizer they where perfect..steak and crab cake for dinner.. Best crab cake in town.. Bread pudding to finish off this fabulous meal..

Our first time at this location and it was great! Food was excellent and our waitress (Shelby) was amazing! Ordered the Shrimp Poboy and asked for sautéed and chef accommodated the request. Wife’s catfish was great too. We will definitely be back again!

We are new regulars at Mikey’s after our first visit a few weeks ago. The red snapper is amazing. I had it fried and it was perfect! The crab cakes are fabulous and I don’t even like crab cakes. If you haven’t been here lately you are missing out.
