Our new local favorite. We have always talked about visiting it but didn't know if it was one of those places where you'd feel awkward not being a regular. We were dead wrong. Service is fantastic. The food is fantastic. The people we've interacted with are friendly and you can tell why people come back regularly. A nice outdoor seating area. Activities most nights. One of the last true great American dive bars. I love this place. Meet one of their bartenders just once and they'll know you by name the next time you walk in. Sure it's dark and smoky and gritty; if that's not your thing you're welcome to go to the pretentious joints in downtown Bham and have $15 weak drinks with Gen Zs with ironic mustaches and mom jeans.
