Best service, best people! I dropped in for takeout last night, and was interested in their homemade seafood gumbo. They offered me a sample before I invested in it. It was very good! One of the owner’s, Danny, was at the bar and struck up friendly conversation with me while I was waiting on my food. We got on the topic of crab cakes, and I stated I was always leery of them because I never knew if they would be too fishy or not. He offered to throw one of their signature crab...
Truly a hidden gem. The crab cakes are legendary and rightly so. Gourmet dishes in a casual atmosphere at a fair price. Chef Dan personally checked on us and it was greatly appreciated as first time diners.
Our first time at this location and it was great! Food was excellent and our waitress (Shelby) was amazing! Ordered the Shrimp Poboy and asked for sautéed and chef accommodated the request. Wife’s catfish was great too. We will definitely be back again!
