Just ate here for the first time and the food was awesome only part that wasn't great was our waitress. Didn't seem like she cared to be there and took forever to take our order. The salsa/drinks guy was great and on point when we needed something. All and all it was

I understand it’s a Mexican restaurant, but when the waitress can’t speak any English it causes problems. My order was wrong and I couldn’t even express to her it was. I asked for green Sauce as simple as I can because again DOES NOT speak English I get brought A1 and Hinez 57 for a Burrito? I express I need 2 to go box’s she says “ohhh go box” I said yes 2, I still get one? Please insure they can speak enough English to at least get through a simple order?

Ordered chili relleno and it was a bell pepper that was mushy and horrible. Cousin got fajita and it was overly salty. Absolutely horrible. Would not recommend.

The food was pretty decent when the restaurant first opened but has gone down hill ever since. Poor service. We had a group going for karaoke but after they thought their business had built up, they basically threw our HUGE group to the curb. Not worth choking down their ghastly food with their poor service for the gift of disrespect we were shown.

Good food and big drinks.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of parking with a ramp for sidewalk access. Plenty of open space inside for wheelchair seating.
This has got to be one of the best Mexican restaurants in Lakeveiw! I haven’t eaten here in a couple of years, I lived in mount Olive, and I just moved here to McCalla.. the food was hot and excellent, the service was top notch! This place was packed out when I left, tables and booths are available, and I could also see there where slot of regulars there
An enjoyable experience and a nice stop along a road trip.

3rd time I have been put on hold for over 20 minutes, then hung up on.On arrival to order, others have had theirs taken. They are very unprofessional,Cheesedip is like water, my chilli relleno , which is supposed to be a poblano pepper filled with meat, battered and fried with salsa an cheese, WAS NOT. It was a bell pepper stuffed with hard tamale bread and meat, was gross, and was in a pan with my burrito with half an inch of liquid that soaked my burrito. They are the worst all the way around. I wouldn't recommend them to Anyone. Very overpriced

The food is always great! Everything I have tried is wonderful. One of my favorite things are the Chile rellenos, which they do a little different than other places. But the taste is out of this world. They also have their own version of arroz con pollo which I like. The salsa is usually a little spicy for me, and not something I can feed my child. But my boyfriend and friends who love heat really enjoy it.We have been here multiple times and only had one instance where the waitress we had was not attentive and instead spent a lot of time either at the register or near the sink talking to staff, or on her phone. And she only came back to our table when our to go order for someone who didn't come with us was ready and at the same time she brought our check. As we looked for her, we even had other wait staff looking back at us, but no one came or intervened. This was a one-time occurrence, and we did not want to be rude by saying anything or doing anything that might offend or upset the waitress. This is the best restaurant we have found, especially for mexican, around the Woodstock / Lake View area. It is even better than some of the restaurants in the larger cities (Tuscaloosa/Birmingham)!
