“I LOVE this shop! I’ve been a customer for around 3 years. There are a ton of flavors of both shakes and teas. The owner and staff are fantastic and have developed friendships with so many of their regular customers. I love going in and several of them already know which tea I’m probably going to order. They have the absolute best protein shakes of any restaurant/shop I’ve been to. And the loaded teas not only have a ton of flavor options, they have caffeine level options along with add-ins such as extra hydration, collagen, etc. The shop also sells jewelry, bags, t- shirts, and other fun items. It’s fantastic to have such a great shop in McCalla!”
“Awesome BBQ sandwiches! Not sure about everything else as that's all I've ever tried while waiting on our train! I'm sure everything else is just as wonderful!”
“This has got to be one of the best Mexican restaurants in Lakeveiw! I haven’t eaten here in a couple of years, I lived in mount Olive, and I just moved here to McCalla.. the food was hot and excellent, the service was top notch! This place was packed out when I left, tables and booths are available, and I could also see there where slot of regulars there”
“This was our first visit to this location. Since the Helena location was shutdown last year, we have been struggling to find a replacement. Decided to drive the 20 minutes to the original site and it was will worth it.”
“The pizza here is honestly amazing. The staff are really friendly too. The wait time tends to be about 30 minutes but the wait is always worth it. If you have an issue with staying in there for 30 minutes just call ahead of time or when you order leave a number so you can leave for a bit and come back when they call.”
“It's something you must go check out. It's an amazing little place in an amazing location. The ice cream and treats are hand made and she uses fresh and healthy ingredients So good!! You will like it!!Please go support and enjoy her creations.”
“Wow I have been living in AL for a little over a year . I have been wanting to try this place for the longest.Well yesterday my husband and I finally tried it out ??? Oh my goodness so tasty!!! Will be craving your food from now on lolGreat Philly cheese cannot wait to try your tacos on Wed . Great customer service and amazing food !!!!”
“My fiancée, her parents and I stopped here yesterday afternoon to get some snacks and take a break, since we have been up since 7am leaving Walker, Louisiana. This gas station/truck stop had the drinks and snacks we wanted. This place does not sell alcohol and tobacco products at the moment.”
“We are there a few days ago and had Chicken fried chicken with white gravy, salad, and cream potatoes and it was great. We haven't been in years but it changed from poor to excellent. The burgers and catfish are great.”
“I'd like to thank Ms. Zheng for letting us have hot soup noodles in a freezing night. Hot soup noodles, best food to have in a freezing night, especially, during traveling. Thank you so much!”
“OK so my bo rounds were as good as they usually are. These bo-berry biscuits tho. If u had time to give me one fresh one the u could have produce the 2 instead of giving me the burnt old one. Now I gotta eat the fresh one and hide the box so my gf expects nothing. Cause' I just got off work. I deserve this fresh biscuit.”
“There is a young man who works there named Aaron and he is very knowledgeable, very polite, and very efficient. I just wanted to thank Subway for giving this guy a job. When he is working it is in and out fast with exactly what I ordered.”
“Workers are mainly busy with the drive through and completing orders whenever I come in. Food brought out fast, within 5-10 mins of ordering but you don’t really get to speak to anyone face to face unless you walk up and stand at the counter for a while or go to the drive through. They claim shake machine is always down whenever a new shake comes out.”
“I had a spectacular Popeyes experience here. Food came fast and everything was very clean. Rodney took excellent care of everyone and brought such a positive energy.”
“I was trying to read the information on the new sandwiches but decided to stick with our usuals. I always ask the 6 in be cut in two because I can only eat that much for lunch. Sometimes I get home and they are cut sometimes not. But at this Subway they get that and everything else right”
“My daughter and I just happened to be coming through Mississippi and stopped in Pearl River to get some gas. I don't typically go into McDonald's for food. This McDonald's was clean, the service was good, and so was the food.I may sound surprised because I am.I am actually looking forward to coming back through Mississippi and stopping back at this mcdonald's.Pearl River Mississippi is Beautiful ❤”
“The food and service were good, but I was given a legible receipt. I asked the person who took my order what the receipt said, and she said, "I don't know, I can't read that. " There go my reward points!”
“At first I thought they were closed but I called the phone number and the door opened to Great food and had a great conversation with the owner. Definitely going back!”
“This was the best costumer experience ever. The owner runs the whole place by himself and you can see how much he puts into his business. The food was amazing, and he even gave us free ice cream after we ate. I’ll definitely be returning!!”
“I’ve always enjoyed eating at The Bright Star restaurant in Bessemer, Alabama. Having lived in Birmingham for the past 25 years, I’ve had many opportunities. The atmosphere is an interesting fusion of diner, farmhouse, lodge and elegant restaurant with hand-painted Euro-like pastoral murals on the walls and early 20th century octagon floor tiles, and lots of wood, brass and marble throughout.Their menu is extensive enough to meet most patrons’ dietary needs/desires with seafood, steaks, and everything in between. I would personally recommend their snapper and shrimp entrees, and I like the Greek style of cooking (broiling with Greek spices and sauces and lots of lemon).Recently, I tried their baked/broiled oyster appetizer and it was superb. I would steer away from the bread pudding as enticing as it might sound, but then, I’m a sort-of bread pudding snob having savored that of Muriel’s in the French Quarter. Nothing could compare… but I digress. Stick with their peanut butter pie for dessert. You won’t be disappointed.I give them four stars mainly because the food portion and quality doesn’t correlate well with the prices. You can eat at several Michelin quality restaurants in Birmingham for about the same price.”
“My first time.I don't really know anything about this town however I do know it's important to know future visit! My God all that food on my plate!I ate all of it too...The coffee took me all the way into the am breakfast experance.....”
“I grew up in Hueytown,Al and Speedy's was our Sunday, after church, tradition. When I was little I honestly couldn't stand Tex Mex, Mexican food, but I always LOVED Speedy's humungous taco salads, and their mind blowing Combo burritos. There's nothing out of the norm with their recipe, or ingredients, nothing that's a radical departure from any other recipe, as far as I can tell, but there's honestly nothing better. Their salsa is phenomenal. I don't know what they make it from, but I've never had another like it. It haunts my taste buds, in the greatest way possible.I moved away from Hueytown over twenty years ago, and I found myself always wanting their food. i have seriously driven over 7 hours on occasion, just to go get some of their amazing, delectable, other worldly food and salsa. I've lived all over the country, lived in Texas, around some of the world's most authentic, best Mexican and Tex Mex restaurants, food carts, street taco vendors, and as amazing as that experience was, I still always found myself wishing that it was Speedy's.Perhaps it's a psychological, childhood association, leaving a deeply seated love for their food and salsa? Perhaps they're evil geniuses, and brainwashed my taste buds, using the world's leading experts on food based psychological warfare? Or maybe it's just really and truly that phenomenal? Sadly, I don't get to go there nearly as much over the last few years. The only time I do ever seem to pass back through my hometown, is when I'm there for a loved one's funeral. And yes, it may be able to be inferred, that I may possibly choose to make that long drive, for my combo burritos and salsa, more so than being the dutiful family member. But that's because of the taste bud brainwashing, right?! I'm always horrified that I'll find out that they've closed or retired, or sold the restaurant off to someone that doesn't honor old ways. I'm always so fearful that I'll never again taste the sweet nectar of their salsa, the ambrosia that is their burritos. I can't recommended enough selling massive bottles of said salsa, and cryogenically frozen burritos. One day those could save the world, or at the very least, satisfy my intense cravings.Until we meet again, hopefully sooner than later, never close, never stop doing what you do, and feel free to franchise to other states, please.TL;DRFood really really good. Me like a lot. May or may not be secret taste bud, mind control agents, hell bent on hometown taste bud domination.”
“Absolutely LOVE this place! The owners are so incredibly nice and the sushi/hibachi is probably the best I've ever had! I cannot say enough great things about this place! We have been here a couple time already and can't wait to go back!”
“Absolutely love La Paz! Some of the best food, cool atmosphere, and phenomenal service! We will definitely be requesting Sandy as our server next time we come in! She was so helpful in suggesting menu items, very attentive, and so nice!”
“RDM catering hosted my cousin Dexter Johnson Heavenly B’day Celebration today.I must say I really enjoyed myself. The service was very professional. The food was DELICIOUS!! My grand son had the chicken wings, greens and macaroni cheese. He loves chicken,it had to be scruptious,b/c he ate all the wings first non stop. Thanks for all you do RDM catering. “With the cold that we have endured these days, I was craving some good tacos and I stopped by Dos Hermanos, there I bought takeout and so I was able to taste the delicacies they prepare in the tranquility of my home.”
“Absolutely delicious food! The cranberry salad with grilled chicken and the bread pudding is to die for. The service is always impeccable. The Front Porch is one of my favorite restaurants!”
“During family vacation, I showed up with my Mom for a quick coffee and brunch. Darius was very polite, friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful. Coffee and breakfast sandwiches were on point. It was definitely a great experience. Highly recommended.”
“It's absolutely amazing. The food was some of the best I've ever had. The fried rice was a true masterpiece. The sushi was perfect and as beautiful as it was delicious. The staff were some of the nicest, well-spoken people I've had the pleasure of meeting. The restaurant was beautiful and clean. With a wonderful mood in the air. I have to say Sakura was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had.”
“My husband ate here with his colleagues weeks ago and has been telling me how good it was. We tried to come here one Sunday afternoon and it was packed out with no availability for tables so we left and went elsewhere. It’s a good sign that they were so busy! We finally got a chance to try it tonight and the hubby took me there. It was delicious. He said he tried the sushi last time and it was good. Tonight he got the chicken hibachi with soup and salad. The ginger salad and soup was good and the flavor of the hibachi chicken was delicious. I had the seafood fried rice and it was very good. Large portions and we have plenty of leftovers. The waiter was attentive and prompt. Friendly service. Prices were not bad. We will definitely be back!”
