Absolutely the worst experience for both my daughter’s birthday 3 years ago and her birthday this year. They do not communicate with you at all, will change your cake flavor/color/design no matter if you want them to or not, and will not reply about pickup or time. I had to pull teeth to get them to confirm or communicate anything with me for my girl’s 2nd bday and 5th bday Jasmine cake. (I had decided to give them another chance this year). I was told the night before the party that they had no order (despite confirming with me the week before and my constant messages the week of) and would try to stay up late to work on it. Then the next day was blowing up my phone saying I had to pickup asap before 12 bc they had a wedding to do. They rushed and threw something together without even bothering to write happy birthday or hardly decorating it. They threw a hair pin crown on the top that looked like it came from dollar tree. The cake was dry and nothing special. This company stressed me out so much and clearly has no respect for their customers!! Get ready for all the excuses bc we were constantly told people called out last minute, there was a death in the fam, the girl who ran the page didn’t communicate, etc. It’s all excuses and they used the same ones years ago. I absolutely do not recommend this business for your parties and events. Just order from Publix like you’ll have to end up doing when they drop the ball.

I highly recommend Ashlyn's Cake Cottage, everything I've had from there is both beautiful and delicious. Elaine is so creative, and very easy to work with. She made the wedding cake and groom cake for my son and daughter-in-law's wedding last year. as well as petit fours and cheesecake bites. The cakes were amazing, as were the cheesecake bites and petit fours. so moist and fresh, with the best frosting ever! She recently made the cake for their baby shower, she really helped translate our unusual request for a baby dragon theme into an adorable cake, it was a huge hit with the guests! She even gave us a dozen extra cupcakes for free, she is so kind.

She made petifors and cupcakes for my wedding. We made it clear we wanted an assortment. (Red velvet, carrot, vanilla and chocolate) we got 4 dozen so you would assume 1 dozen of each right. Wrong. They were nasty. Wet soggy and dence. None of them were yummy. As for the petifors. Hell no. It is my favorite sweet treat and somehow she ruined them. They were soggy. And circle shape. I had to keep calling to remind her to please start the cakes because she kept saying Friday at 5pm. The wedding was on a Thursday early afternoon. She made it as the guests arrived...

I have gotten several birthday/anniversary cakes from Ashlyn's and they are always beautiful and delicious! I will have to admit though, my favorites visits are right before I get in carpool to pick up my kids. They have the best cupcakes, petit fors, pecan pie bites and cookies. Just right for a mom snack right before the kids get home!
I’ve gotten everything from wedding cakes to birthday cakes and cookie cakes from here. The staff is always very friendly and helpful; and everything has always tasted delicious! They also do a great job of listening to your ideas for decorating and do their best to make the decor on your cakes just like what you described.

These people are the rudest of any business I've ever been in we ordered a wedding cake and was told they would have it ready anytime today well we get there it took a couple of minutes before the people came out of the back to even acknowledge me when they did they said the cake wouldn't be ready until 1 so I get back at 1 pm and it's almost 2pm now their sign says they close at 2pm so go figure it's a total joke, needless to say I won't buy anything else from these people

Any time I place an order with Ms.Elaine , she always listen to my crazy ideas / details on how I want my cake from beginning to end. When I say from moisture, flavors to details she’s A1 . It’s very rare you find someone who does your cake exactly like the picture you show them. Oh let’s not forget she has very reasonable prices .
