This is the BEST donut place hands down! They come straight from heaven! Soft, doughy (but not too doughy that they’re heavy or make you thirsty), and they just melt in your mouth OMG!! I wouldve took a picture, but I ate it too fast smh.

This is definately one of Millbrook's hidden gems. The doughnuts and other confections are incredible. I have had almost everything on the menu and my top recomendations are the red velvet cake doughnut, apple fritter, and the cinnamon twist. Tried the jalapeno kolache today and it blew me away. Also love the fantastic service and that it is a family run place. You really get the homemade feel and taste from this place. Cannot recommend highly enough!

As stated in previous reviews, unless you order ahead. They don't have donuts. At all. Even at 745am. We got 3 of the last 4... but will not return since there's no chance of securing what you'd want.

Today was my second time there. I heard about this place from my instructor who lives in Wetumpka who brought in doughnuts for the class. The doughnuts are huge and delicious. The owners are friendly and kind. Fast service. This will be my go to from now on.

Genuinely the best homemade doughnuts you will ever taste. The light airy sweet dough encased in a delicate glaze and variety of flavors is perfecttt. It WILL become an addiction that gets you up & out the house at 5am just to get em before they disappear!

As the #56 donut shop in U.S., statistically speaking, Donuts D Lite averages a 4.4 rating across all platforms. And this charming little family-owned spot doesn't disappoint, offering delicious donuts made fresh. As the only donut shop I could find in South Alabama that opens at 4:30 a.m., they gained my attention. All other shops weren't opening until later after I would have already departed the area on my road trip to Louisiana.
So I gave Donuts D Lite a try. And I'm glad I did! I highly recommend their vanilla cream filled donut, probably the star of the show. All of their other flavors are delicious as well, and they even threw in a few tasty donut holes with my order. But I still dream about that vanilla cream!
I was really hopeful to try this place for the first time, but it looks like it’ll be my last. The first two bites of my kolache were good until I noticed the bread had some ink? on it. Not sure what that is from but I didn’t see anything on the brown paper bag that would cause that. Also noticed they sell out 98% before they even open, so unless you pre-order you won’t get what you want. Enjoy your donuts if you like them, I won’t be there to take them ;)

Mmm Mmm, yummy delight! ? I do not live in AL but while visiting I stopped here. Returned the following week for more. Delicious cake doughnuts. I ordered a variety including blueberry, red velvet, another with crumb topping ; which was my new favorite, and long john + glazed. I see why the customer before me walked out with 12 dozen... Soft, fried just right, not too heavy, and the right donut glaze ratio. You taste doughnut, it is not overpowered by sugar or saturated to the point when the bread feels wet. The oil must be fresh because the taste comes through well. THANK YOU ?? ?? I'll be back!
