Solid food and solid service. Very cozy spot with a charm that makes you feel like you're in a family member's dining room. Food is very reasonably priced and comes out hot. Staff is always very patient and friendly. It's an authentic southern experience, whether you're a southerner or a visitor. Go as often as you can.
I think this place has been the most exceptional restaurant I've been to in a very long time! Staff was amazing! Miss Angela served us along with another beautiful lady i didn't catch the name of! The most attentive staff! Sweet Miss Pat, I'm assuming our chef in the back, came to check on everyone and I explained how amazing the bread was ! SHE GAVE ME THE RECIPE!! Never in my life have i felt so accepted so fast by such wonderful staff! Losing my grandmother...
First timer and I will return. Affordable. Host, server, and owner customer service was phenomenal! I had the wakie wakie meal and it was okay to me. I tried the fish off of someone at my tables plate and it was chefs kiss! Every time a server brought a plate out I said “oooh that looks good” 😅 Peach Mimosa pitcher is good and was shared between four people at our table.
