SALT CITY. EVERYTHING WAS SALTY, ESPECIALLY THE POTATO SALAD AND THE RIBS ARE AN EMBARRASSMENT TO ALABAMA BBQ. THEY WERE DRY AND TOUGH

NOT A GOOD CHOICE FOR THOSE WHO ARE ON A REDUCED SODIUM DIET

The only thing I can say good about this place is the beer they had on tap. Seriously, the worst BBQ I've ever had. They were shorthanded so it was 15 minutes before someone came to check if I wanted a drink... Not cool. The meat slices were like leather. Look at what they served me. They need to go to some Meat Church classes..!

Wasn’t even that busy, but it felt like we aged a little waiting on our food. The turkey? Straight-up presliced store bought vibes. The chopped chicken, pulled pork, and ribs all tasted like they’d been smoked days ago and soaked up some dirty smoke along the way. Nothing hit right.

Absolutely not recommended.

I remember getting good BBQ in Alabama years back, but this area? This is like the 5th spot I’ve tried and it’s all bottom of the barrel, gas station parking lot energy. I’m just glad I’m headed back to the Carolinas soon so I can get a real BBQ fix again.

First time and last time trying this place. Walked in followed signs that led you to where you eat at I guess. I was not greeted...sat myself at the bar. 10mins pass and order still not taken. Heard the food was not pleaseable..but wanted to try myself. Never got any service will never be back. I can clearly see..this place definitely needs some training on customer service.

Food was awful. potato salad tastes like something bought in Walmart and dipped up. service was not good. Bill was 95.00 for 5 ppl , should have been about 50.00. serving size for sides was pathetic. I won't recommend and definitely will not be back. gonna go out of business like that. wish we would have checked the reviews

Had a great lunch with my wife. We both enjoyed the food. The young lady waiting on us was very nice.

Had take out, so can't rate service or atmosphere. Best brisket sandwich I ever had. Most brisket I've had has been dry and tough, this was juicy and tender, bourbon BBQ sauce was excellent.

If you want good BBQ in the tri-county area I can not recommend Smoke house enough. Its been a staple of Millbrook since I was a kid (when it wasnt burned down). Forget Jim and Nick's go here, save money and eat better. 10/10 great food

We love Smokehouse BBQ! It has a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. Our waitress was sweet, the food was great and quick, and the owners are amazing! I highly recommend it, especially with the live music. The prices were good, too!

Service was friendly. It's not pleasant however to watch a waitress walk around in what looks like just a shirt. Very unprofessional. I couldn't see her shorts 90% of the time.
The food was decent. I do appreciate the light side option!
Fried chicken had a great crust but the meat was greasy and tasteless. The broccoli was ok. The green beans weren't good. The corn muffin was good. The sweet potato was the best thing on my plate!

Small local place that seems to be family owned. Food was great both breakfast and lunch. Really enjoyed the breakfast bowl, not overly big so I'm content but not stuffed. Good prices.

Today, Sunday August 3, we waited for 45 minutes (after ordering) for our food. When we got our food, we were told 4 of 6 fryers weren't working and some people had waited an hour and a half for their food... I didn't order anything fried. My husband did. They were out of cornbread. Collard greens were too spicy to eat. The mac and cheese and baked sweet potato were not hot. Our waitress didnt check on us or offer any apologies while we waited. Another server actually brought the food and apologized.

My husband ordered dessert (blackberry cobbler) that he said was good. It was hot and he said he enjoyed it.
