Just a glitch as usually eating here is a good thing. I got fried chicken, sweet potato casserole, fried okra and collards. All was good except the collards. They were seasoned with hot sauce and upon taking a bite I experienced the burning that goes with hot sauce. Yuck, I don't ever use hot sauce and in the South, it is usually in a bottle on the table so that one can use as much as one wants or doesn't. Such a disappointment in paying for something I couldn't eat.

Stopped here on roadtrip from Colorado.Hands down BEST pulled pork and bbq beans I've ever had,and I traveled the entire country multiple times.Great food!

Me and my family (Mother and Father) passing through the area looking to possibly see if we'd like to move to the area and saw the place and stopped to check it out. My folks had the shedded pork plate with two side upgraded their baked potato to loaded potatoes for a $1.50 I had the brisket plate with two sides upgraded my mac and cheese to loaded mac for an amount they would not even tell me till it was time to pay.. everyone had a fountain drink plus my mother had a margarita.. 1... the bill should have been maybe $50-$60ish.. it was $99.. place is full of thieves.. food was not even good.. meat was cold when it was brought to the table.. they had a 12 year old girl working in the bar.... not only do we not want to move to there area but we consider contact law enforcement.. eat here at your own risk...

SERVICE WAS WONDERFUL BUT THE FOOD WAS GARBAGE.. I ORDERED THE PULLED CHICKEN w MAC AND CHEESE AND COLLARD GREENS. NOTHING WAS GOOD THE CHICKEN WAS DRY NO SAUCE WAS ADDED OR OFFERED IM NOT SURE WHO MADE THE MAC AND CHEESE BUT THEY SHOULD BE SHOT AND IF THEY SURVIVE THEY SHOULD E SHOT AGAIN IT WAS THAT BAD. CAN COLLARD GREENS SHOULD BE AGAINST THE LAW.. COMPLETE WAIST OF $24

Our 1st visit, party of 6. Started ordering at outdoor window. Waitress came out to assist us. The smells were calling us in, the foods we ordered were varied. All were delicious. We are BBQ folks, lived about 2 miles from our favorite in Georgia. So happy to find a new neighborhood favorite in Alabama.
