I’ve only been in a few times, but every time has been a delight. Staff is always friendly and efficient and the food is excellent. I’m happy to support a local business when I have a craving for good ol’ fashioned ballpark food and some high quality, homemade sides.

I picked up lunch to go. I had the sausage dog with coleslaw. I had potato salad as my side. Everything was great like it was when Al's was on Dauphin St downtown. This means Al's is a food institution for some years. Still great food and service. I double highly recommend Al's Hot Dogs ?
I highly recommend fresh not frozen. Affordable family owned and operated. Customer service is that if Publix. All around affordable fresh customer service is my main focus. I’m a loyal customer , the snow cone was really great it’s so hot this was the perfect place to come . Oh and all for under 10.00 dollars…

Waste of hard earned money, specifically asked for an EXTRA WELL DONE DOUBLE CHEESE BURGER, with No Tomato, etc... etc... instructions were not followed at all! Burger was not cooked to order... Lettuce was wilted! No season whatsoever, must truly say this is the worst lunch purchase I have made in a very long time. By the way, it was highly recommended, but truly highly overrated by my coworkers. Very, very, very disappointing experience. Will never, ever eat here again.

The Flavor is still there in this super special hot dog spot. No, hotdogs are not as inexpensive as they are in the photo, but the same special ingredients make this restaurant a staple in our community. I was surprised to see the Covid safe guards were still in place. Making this a carry out only spot. I asked and they allowed me to eat my dog standing up. I took a few shots, ordered another hot dog and I was on my way out the door. Ketchup, kraut , relish , cheese, onions, coleslaw and more ketchup is how I like it. Give it a try and let me know what you think. For real, let me know. LoL
