I have ordered carry out from here over 10 times and every time it was great. This is my current favorite pizza in the city.

Amazing food and pizza! The wait time has increased every time I go and there was a time where they stopped taking orders in the middle of active hours. I would think they need a bigger pizza oven or create a new outdoor pizza oven to double the compacity for cooking but the food is still worth the wait.

Unfortunately this place got overwhelmed on a Saturday night and we did not get to even try the food.
They stopped taking orders at 6:40 at night. The owner was not kind to my friend, offered no apology.
If you have kids at home and know how rare it is to line up sitters and make plans with other friends for an evening you would feel the disappointment too.
Bad taste left in our empty mouths.

We had a very disappointing experience tonight while trying to celebrate a friends birthday. After being seated, we were told we couldn’t place a food order for at least another 20 minutes, despite the restaurant not being anywhere near capacity. The wine prices were shockingly high. $13 for a glass of wine.
I was later told they were no longer accepting orders at all. I tried to explain we had specifically chosen her (speaking to the owner) restaurant at the birthday girls request. The woman spoke very condescending telling me that next time I should make a reservation if I’m celebrating someone’s birthday. She honestly had no interest in our business whatsoever. The place just plain sucks. I have no idea how it stays in business if this is how it runs ship.
The table behind us mentioned they had already been waiting over an hour for their pizza and were just informed it would be at least another 25 minutes. They were also frustrated.
The owner shared no concern, no apology, and no interest in creating a positive experience. Extremely unaccommodating in every sense of the word describes it best. We left and took our business to The Cheese Cottage where the service and food were absolutely phenomenal.
I love supporting local, but unfortunately I would not return here and do not recommend it. There are plenty of local spots who genuinely value their customers and appreciate your business. This is not one of them!!!!!!!!!

This place has consistently been delicious! The outdoor area is styled so nice and inviting! I love their butter chicken pizza. The garlic noodles are also a favorite. We always have a very comfortable experience at Ash & Oak. Their neighbor, Monroe’s, is an added bonus for beers & cocktails. Five stars!

Cannot stress enough that this is what Mobile NEEDED a home grown location I can suggest to anyone absolutely love the the back patio and the butter chicken pizza will forever change you, I will be back for every future special release I possibly can and revisit for my other favorites the like soprano sandwich in between. Please help me help these folks in keeping Mobile better with their wonderful food!
