Visited them around 11pm on a Saturday. Sat there for almost 20 mins until I got a server to assist me. It kinda got me, but the food was good, ordered Victoria’s Bowl with Chicken. I didn’t mind tipping the waitress too, except for the long wait duration. So next time the moment u walk in have the service desk staff assist u with ur table, instead of finding yourself one. Because u might be forgotten completely.
Shout out to the servers. Yeah the food and drinks are great but the service made it.
As been told before, you can't find good Mexican food east of the Mississippi
Unexpectedly wonderful! Excellent food!
Restaurant was within walking distance of our hotel, which was convenient. Requested outside table - patio area was colorfully decorated and there was a nice breeze on a beautiful summer night. Salsa was fresh and delicious; chips thick enough for dipping; Mexican dinner was plentiful and satisfying; Carnitas were tender along side the tasty soupy beans. We will definitely done here again as we pass through Mobile, Alabama.
They're excellent
Carnitas with Charro beans and rice.
Oh my sainted aunt, I wish I had two stomachs so could eat more.
These were the best I have EVER had. Tender and juicy, in a sauce with tomatoes and onions and spices and magic.
The beans, simple, robust, full of flavor.
Add some beans to the rice with some of the sauce, the luscious meat, a little pico de gallo on top. Heaven in a warm tortilla.
I walked away fat and happy, looking forward to my next visit to Mobile.
At the risk of sounding like an old western novel. On a cold January night Azteca was just what a weary traveler needed. Thee food was hot, and tasty. I had the 5 carne asada street tacos (yummy) and the wife had Victoria's bowl. We both enjoyed our meal. The waitress was great, the restaurant was clean. And the prices were fantastic.

I had a birria bowl. It was fantastic! So much food and the prices are reasonable.
Vegetarian options: I'm sure they have them, I just didn't look for any

We're probably spoiled living in Houston where really good Mexican restaurants can be found every few miles, but I would say this restaurant is good, but but great. Nothing was bad but nothing was amazing. We had the beef and chicken fajitas which were decent but nothing to write time about. The service though was excellent and really enjoyed all of the staff.

Steak quesadilla was essentially a taco but all the cheese was dumped in the bottom and then steak on the top. We ordered guacamole and were given puréed avocado. Black beans were served cold. Server was nice and fast but food was incredibly disappointing.
