My Birthday Lunch place of choice and , when my Friend and I entered the Bamboo , smell of natural Gas very strong and room dark , mentioned to Host , no response. . The Host spoke low , then ushered us into a room for Hibachi. We were the only 2 people in the place so far. Drink orders were taken and brought back. Orders for Food were taken. About 20 minutes later, 5 Caucasians came in and of course was seated with us; their orders taken. We had not been spoken to, checked on by the Waiter but as soon as the others arrived, “ Things “ perked up and things began to happen.Out comes the Food Wagon, with All of the orders , and he immediately focused on the Others, entertaining them with his tricks, and talking to them, My Friend and I was treated with disrespect and very close to Racism. We were first , the other Party were given All “ entertainment, given larger portions of Food, Drinks replenished . Our Food was given last in smaller unequal portions. Our Drinks never were replenished and I tried to get the Server’s attention and was unsuccessful to remove dishes. When he came to check on the others, that is when I had to ask for our empty dishes to be removed. Never again will I go to The Bamboo Steakhouse and Sushi Bar due to very poor service and Racist Treatment. It’s timeout for spending your money with Businesses and be treated with overt disrespect and contempt.

I’m not going to lie this place is my go to spot for when I want good food and more but this past Sunday the food was mediocre and food wasn’t up to the par it normally is but, the food for was rushed the chef undercooked salmon didn’t seasoned the fried rice to normal or the vegetables but it was mid for the last couple of times going love the place but, geez for the price I would like the food the way I been coming for years and, isn’t the same.

We went here last night June the 6th to celebrate my daughter's promotion! We've been to different hibachis in the area and have always decided pretty much that the food could be okay if the show was good. The show we had last night the guy come out and he cracked five eggs with his spatula of course after lighting the grill on fire which they all do. Then a few minutes later he lit a small piece of charcoal and tried about seven or eight times to flip it up into his hat and finally he got it. Then he banged his spatulas on the grill, making a lot of noise and singing happy birthday to my granddaughter! And then radio silence! From that point on all he did was cook. No show whatsoever! Like I said the food was okay so the show had to be good to warrant a good rating! The food was okay. The show was the worst I have ever seen at any hibachi restaurant! To be fair, there was a hibachi grill caddy corner to ours that most of the folks at our table turned around and watched him because he was definitely putting on a show! I will be hard pressed to ever go back to this place! I have never been disappointed with Shogun on airport boulevard! This was the first time we had been to bamboos.

Was not happy AT ALL with the food !!! Well let me say this first… soup, salad, and sushi was good, BUT…the rice, noodles, veggies, had no taste, as the Filet did not either !!! There was 5 of us eating for my birthday tonight 06/07/2025 and 4 of us had filet mignon steak and one had shrimp. We ask for our steaks to be cooked rare, which is a red center for it to be juicy. ALL our steaks were cooked WELL DONE, not even any pink to it much less red and rare !!! And tough is not the word for the filets which is one of the tenderest steaks around usually. Our waitress was the most pleasant and nicest you could ask for, and the chief did put on a good show, BUT…. The main course was terrible !!!! I tasted it all and ate two(2) pieces of the steak and brought the rest in a Togo box. As did the other 5 people with me did also. When paying almost $350 for 5 people to eat I or anyone else would expect to have decent cooked food, and the way we ordered it for that fact !! We all did leave our waitress a nice tip, she did everything she was supposed to do…… but I highly recommend you teach them what a rare steak should be and look like. If you are looking for good sushi I would recommend it highly, but if your looking for a good steak…… I will definitely not recommend this place, as the other 4 guest with me would not either. Maybe it was just our chief, but they will not get another $350 dollars not counting the $40 tip from any of us and that’s a fact !!! So sorry for this review but the truth is the truth. I will post a pic of my food to prove what I’m saying. Here is the picture and you tell me what you think….. and no juice to it at all !!!!

My wife and I like Bamboo. Sometimes go for Teppanyaki, and sometimes just for sushi. Always good!

I picked up takeout last weekend after spending the evening at the hospital down the street with my dad. I was in a hurry, stressed and tired, so I guess I just signed the receipt for $31.26 without filling in the tip or total. A few days later, I received an alert from my credit card asking me if I left a 48% tip. $15 was added to the order making my total charge, $46.26. I can’t believe someone thought they had the right to fraudulently fill in the ticket. I called that evening to resolve it, and they pulled the tickets and then proceeded to tell me that the ticket has $15 written in the tip line and $46.26 in the total and my signature, insinuating that I legitimately left that tip and signed for it. After several times of me stating that someone else wrote it in and asking why on earth I would leave a 48% tip on a takeout order, they agreed to refund me the tip and said it would take a few days. No apology. No asking me for details about the employee that literally committed fraud, just “you’ll have it back in a few days and have a good night”. I sent a message to the manager, Chris to make him aware of what the employee did and then the lack customer service provided after it happened. Again, no apology, no explanation, just told me it would be refunded. I have never experienced this in my entire life. I love supporting local businesses, hence the reason I went there instead of going to a chain. I won’t be back and hope that it doesn’t happen to anyone else.
