Well I called and wanted to order a few beignets as I was in a hurry.. He wouldn’t let me so I had to wait to get there to order.. only two workers in the place. He said it could take 10-15 minutes to make the buttercream sauce that I was wanting and I actually had to sit and wait for 30 minutes before he had anything ready and I was just in a hurry and so if you’re ever in a hurry, it’s definitely not somewhere you can go as the service was slow the last time I was there as well
First off this food and place were great. Fun and tasty, I HAVE to say I read reviews and was skeptical however... Y'all need therapy. The people complaining about powdered sugar (you are the same people complaining about peanuts in steakhouse aren't you) have apparently never been to Cafe Du Monde or literally anywhere that serves proper beignet. This is a burger and shakes place not the damn Battlehouse. This is a great little place. Don't listen to people who want to complain for the sake of sounding important the food is great the coffee is great eat and have fun...I mean damn.

The Patty Melt, Bay Burger and Grilled cheese were okay. The smash burger style beef was delicious. The bay sauce was outstanding. However, the meat sat between two greasy buns. So greasy in fact, it distracted from the rest of the melt/burger. To be fair, I’m all for toasted buns. But you really don’t need to soak them to get them toasted. The meat was fresh. The caramelized onions on the part melt were great. The basket of “Freedom Fries” were a separate item from the burger/melt and for $3.50 you get a decently sized portion for 2-3 people. However they were lackluster at best. They tasted like they were very frozen or maybe even freezer burned even through the salt. The drinks were also a separate charge from the food which makes the average price of a standard meal about $13-$15. The main menu only shows individual pricing of the main item. No big deal there, just not upfront pricing.
The atmosphere was unique. There was Christmas vibes happening which is always welcome, but a World Series from 2005 on the TV. It seems apparent that baseball is a theme, just odd to be playing on the TV when it’s out of season. Minor detail.
This food could be a home run, just needs a few things in the kitchen dialed in. I understand it’s the south, but not everyone needs their food drowning in butter to be palatable.
This very easily could have been a 10/10 review. I hope the management can acquire a good lead cook that can make the minor adjustments it needs to lead the crew to be great.

Sticky floor, powdered sugar STILL on tables. No one cleaning. Burgers were great but nasty inside. Workers need to be keeping tables wiped and mop that sticky floor. Won't be back.

I am disappointed to see that no staff were present during my visit tonight. I had previously stopped coming to this establishment due to poor service two years ago, and unfortunately, the only noticeable change is that it seems there are no employees at all now. Please don’t try to suggest that the staff were in the restroom, as I checked and it was empty. I've attached a photo showing the entirely vacant space. In hindsight, I should have gone to Waffle House and made my own food instead. Given that there has been no improvement over the past two years, I’ll try again in four.

45 min later I had to inquire where my food was... This is the second time I've visited here that they lost my ticket and did not make the order./

My family and I ordered four burger combos here today . The burgers were good but the French fries were extremely overcooked and the soda fountain was leaking water all around the nozzles on the drink dispensers. The restaurant itself was very dirty with trash on the floors and dirty tables.
The beignets were so bad, hard and flat that I had to taken back. They offered me to make another order and they were the same. The owner or manager should go to restaurant in Airport blvd and teach their employees how to make them. I will never go back there.

Looks like this business pays to hide poor reviews as my original posted over a month ago isn't public. Long story short: poor value for the money, issues with cleanliness, staff seem overwhelmed, and a social media manager/owner who argues with everyone trying to improve their 4.1 star rating.

Not a good value for the price. Small burgers. They tasted good but tiny. It was $40 for 2 people fries, onion rings 2 burgers..Fries were average and the onion rings were not spectacular. Reminded me of Five Guys...less greasy but outrageous prices

So, I went by there this past sunday. I don't know if it's this generation of children. But their customer service is not that great. Seem like they're sad and upset to be there. There was a blonde young lady Who seemed to be more upbeat and had a pleasant attitude. Do not get me wrong, to be fair nobody had a overtly nasty attitude with me at all. It was pretty dirty in my opinion. I even took a picture. Tables are not wiped down. So I decided to go over in the far right corner where they have a little couch and lounge area. And that was dirty and un inviting as well. I also went outside. Chairs, tables, disgusting. We finally found a place that was suitable to sit. It appears as if they cook their food fresh and that they took their time. Which I really appreciated. The burgers were very delicious. But the fries were very mediocre. When I hear something called freedom fries I'm expecting something a little bit more. I also feel like the prices were very decent especially considering inflation. All in all, I will be going back but I'll probably do take out only. And we probably won't waste time on the fries. They also serve my food on a dirty tray. Please see picture.
We ordered a pickup for dinner. My son can't have cheese so I ordered a slider and they put cheese on it. It happens, so my husband left his food to get cold to go back up there and get the right slider. No cheese, no sauce. They gave us a slider with cheese and sauce on it again after he said it 3 times. They also left off our 2 orders of onion rings and gave us overcooked fries with no seasoning. The strawberry lemonade was good but small for $4 a cup. The regular lemonade was a watered-down mess. The fried pickles, dugout fries and onion rings were good but not worth the hassle overall.
