We went for brunch. We made a reservation on Open Table, but it wasn't crowded at all. We ordered Mint Juleps and a French 75 for drinks. I was slightly offended when our server came back and asked us if we knew what a Mint Julep was, that the bartender just wanted to be sure before it was made. I said yes, and then they brought me something that was supposed to be a Mint Julep but it was in a copper mug with normal ice. That made me laugh after asking us if we knew what...
The kitchen was a bit understaffed the day we were there. The food was worth the wait. Exceptional meals. We walked here for lunch. Location is great-- close to museums. We got cafe lattes, and then chose a sweet and a savoury choice. We shared the meals. Food left over on both plates. Prices were reasonable for the quality of food.
Free for guests of the hotel (special selection) we each enjoyed our solid sturdy breakfasts and ordered a crab Benedict for the table to share. Super rich and yummy!
