This place reminded me of Cheers, a small, neighborhood bar/restaurant with atmosphere that you could scrape off the walls.
Barlike atmosphere isn't my favorite, but the food was incredible and very, very, very reasonably priced. Onion rings were the best I've ever had as a travelling worker.

Nice cafe. Specialize in burgers but plenty of other options. The have a daily special for $12. On Monday, it is red beans, rice, sausage. Very nice. Nice waitress. Probably 20 tables plus a bar. They seat you quickly and get your beverage quickly but once the food order it taken, it can take a while (and they tell you so.) very little parking, so may need to find street parking. Glad I went and would go again.

genuinely don’t understand how this place is considered one of Mobile’s “best burgers.”
We paid $40 for two burgers (no drinks!!!) and somehow they still managed to get the to-go order wrong. What makes this even more frustrating is that the online menu lists one burger at $11 and the other at $14, so how the total ended up at $40 is genuinely confusing. Especially since no receipt was provided, leaving us with zero transparency on what we were charged.
The burger itself was sub-par at best. Bland, forgettable, and absolutely not worth the price. It might have been decent had it actually been prepared the way it was ordered, but that didn’t happen. When you’re charging premium prices, basic accuracy and clarity shouldn’t be optional.
For a place with this reputation, the experience was disappointing from start to finish.. overpriced, incorrect, and underwhelming. There are far better burgers in Mobile that don’t leave you feeling ripped off.
