Old Irish pub, with a long history. It's in a neighborhood setting. One of those places you should check out when visiting for the first time.
We were passing through Mobile looking for a place where we could bring our dog. Callaghan's has outdoor seating and they welcome dogs. My wife and I had burgers which they are known for and the burgers were very good. The neighborhood is beautiful and we enjoyed a walk around after our meal. The bar inside is very cool. This place is definitely worth the trip and I highly recommend it.
Heard the cheeseburgers were great, so we tried it out. Bacon cheeseburgers were pretty good, nothing exciting but good. Small tavern menu, super fun atmosphere! Would probably be fun on a Friday evening with live music.

We had a fairly big group and we're accommodated very quickly. Good food and a large drink variety. Fun and fast service as well!
That burger is the real deal. Bacon cheeseburger with sharp cheddar. She had an Irish French dip. Best-ever discussions get tired on a site like this, so I’ll just say they are excellent and I will figure out a way to go have that burger again.

Neighborhood pub: wonderful music, amazing people and the beer on tap blonde is my favorite. When in Mobile it’s a must!!!

We went on a Tuesday night and they had Irish folk musicians playing music and it was such a nice experience. We have decided to make it a weekly tradition in our family!
