I have been in a kind of mood to have something sweet on the weekends. I had never tried Cammie’s Old Dutch Ice Cream before. I knew of the one on Old Shell but just recently discovered the one on Halls Mill. I decided to try it out.
I really didn’t know what flavor to get. There were so many flavors to choose from. My favorite Bluebell flavor is Pecan Pralines n’ Cream. They didn’t have that flavor but they did have Creole Praline. I saw a person ahead of me get a few samples. I had already made my decision.
I ordered a pint of Creole Praline and took it home to find out how this praline compared to Bluebells. When I got home I took no time opening up the lid. The first thing I noticed was there was more pralines in this one. The second thing I noticed was there was more flavor in this one as well. It was really good. And it wasn’t overpowering. What I mean by that is that the ice cream was sweet but not overwhelming. It didn’t do too much. It was pretty much perfect. I will have to come back to try more flavors.

They have some of the best ice cream that I’ve ever found in my travels. Bravo! 🎉

Outstanding flavor choices and great service. The burden on the pocket book was minimal. We will return often. If you need an "atta boy", you can't miss on this one.
