Good sushi, good food, nice cafe..

This is our go-to date night. It’s not super fancy but delicious sashimi and sushi. Service is always great and it’s quiet. Prices are reasonable as well. See you again for our next date night!!

I moved away from mobile and I miss this place the most. Chef Sake is the kindest friendliest guy. Delicious food. I ate here so much when I was in college. Would drive all the way to mobile just to eat here.

I took my 2 kids (8 and 13) here on a random, sporadic dinner. Upon entering the small, quaint restaurant, we were very nicely greeted by the staff. The few customers there also gave friendly nods and welcoming gestures. Very friendly atmosphere. I ordered the filet and shrimp hibachi. It was awesome. My filet was extremely tender, juicy and delicious. The shrimp tasted very fresh. Don’t seem to be imported. My daughter ordered steak and shrimp hibachi she devoured it and left nothing behind. My son ordered tuna nigiri and said it was excellent. My daughter tried a piece of his nigiri for the first time and said it was really good. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be returning the next time we’re in the area.

Good little sushi spot. Hosts were nice, and food came out pretty quick. Will go there again if I'm in the area.

The best sushi in town!! I love this place and the service is awesome. The Mobile Roll is a personal favorite.

Yesterday I did a carry out order. I clicked the menu button here and saw the pricing. I ordered 1 Philly Roll: $8, 1 Alabama Roll $11, and 1 Rainbow Roll $13. When I went to pay I was very surprised the price was way higher. It rang up as 1 Philly Roll $9, 1 Alabama Roll $13.50 and Rainbow $14.50. Then I really didn't think the quality was up to that price. I normally go to Japanese Express for cheaper to-go sushi and this wasn't any better quality. Then See We Roll has better quality for dine in. It didn't have very soft rice like sushi is supposed to have and that slight flavor I want with the rice. Hopefully they can update their pricing here so people can be more informed before going in.

I've had dinner here more times than I can count. My husband nor I have ever been disappointed. The hest Sushi in Mobile. My husband loves the hibachi also. We are Monday night regulars!
UPDATE: VISITED THE RESTAURANT MONDAY, 7/22, IT WAS HOT IN THE BUILDING WHEN WE ENTERED AT APPROXIMATELY 5:30 PM. I HAD A SHRIMP ROLL. I GOT SICK TUESDAY MORNING I THREW UP FOR 32 HOURS. WENT TO THE DOCTOR AND WAS TOLD I HAD FOOD POISON.
I WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO RETURN TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. YOU CANNOT TAKE FOOD OUT OF A FRIDGE, AND SIT IT OUT IN A HOT ROOM. ITS A BREEDING GROUND FOR BACTERIA. I KNEW WHEN I WALKED IN, AND IT WAS SO HOT, I SHOULD HAVE TURNED AROUND AND WALKED OUT.

Chef Sake has the best sushi in terms of quality per bite and genuinely hospitable service in Mobile. They are a gem and an experience. As someone married to a native Mobilian, this spot deserves recognition amongst Food Pak, Carpe Diem, Brick Pit (RIP), Solomon's (RIP), Agave, and others near the university. Fresh fish, clean workspace, incredible knife cuts. We suggest daily specials, the Orange Ball, and Yellow Ball. We still talk about how delicately sliced the lemon wedges were, how fresh each roll was, how chef had such a delicate hand for temaki, and how surprising each flavor combo was. Chef knows his flavors and stays true to the craft.

The best spot around town for sushi. Chef Sake makes some unique and delicious sushi rolls. They have a great food and drink selections. Family oriented atmosphere, and if you're an Alabama fan, you're in for a treat.
