The most disappointing thing was the flavor of the chicken sandwich. I got the Nashville, hot chicken sandwich and it was literally made with sweet baby ray’s sauce, straight out of the bottle. Yes the one that you buy at the supermarket for two dollars. I was hoping that the breading would compensate, but it was just bland. Service was fine. The location itself is in this kind of food court and was a little bit cramped; it wasn’t too bad, but if it would have been rush-hour, it would have been impossible. Today was my last night in town and I wanted to eat something great, this was not it. Edit: the old place smells like a fryer so you will be smelling like fried chicken for the rest of the day. Edit 2: the fries were superb, they were flavorful and had the perfect combination of crispy and fluffy.

Rolled into Mobile Alabama from Lufkin Texas. Came here to see Joe Bonamassa. Closest he was to Texas. Decided a burger would be nice so we tried The Hammered Cow Met a worker there from Grand Bury I believe on a guy from the Keys. They were two fantastic young people working there. Enjoyed talking to them! I got some triple patty burger (MINUS THE BACON!!! per the girl they ran out of BACON! How Could You Run Out of BACON????, lol) Wife got southwest egg rolls Oh my burger was fantastic, didn’t need any BACON, lol
This place can be a bit tricky to find if using Google maps but look for the Insider sign and there is a handful of restaurants inside the building. We ate at chicken district and had both the chicken tenders and also the Buffalo chicken fries. While the tenders were great, next time we both would just get two orders of the chicken fries.
The meal came with cut up chicken tenders loaded with different toppings and crinkle cut waffles fries.
The fries were very unique and the experience was great. The staff was fast at taking our order and the food came out very fast. I would eat here again and suggest the chicken fries as a great meal. With the two meals we were able to have leftovers also to take home for dinner.
The only thing I would note is that they do not serve water in a cup so you'll have to go next door to the bar to get water or you and bring your own water with you. They do sell drinks in bottles but not worth the prices for drinks.

Delicious! Had the chicken tenders and fries. The tenders were large , juicy, and cooked just right. The fries were crispy and great. All yummy.
