I took a chance on this hood adjascent Chinese restaurant. Had a feeling. I asked for hot General Tso, and it was good and spicy. For less than $40, I ate like a king for probably four days... Met some great patrons, too, as the place filled up for take-out right after I ordered. I'm going back for sure. Nice counter staff, as well. This is my spot in Mobile.
I ordered through DoorDash, from the China Chef Springhill Ave store, and when the driver got there, my food was already in the bag, and they left out part of my order, ribs and sauces I specifically requested, and now they will not answer the phone. I know it’s because the girl recognizes my phone number. You would think the manager would come back on the phone, but he must be an afraid.This is bad service. Good food if you can get them to fix it right, but someone who doesn’t...
